Basic commands5 credits

I can teach your dog to sit, lay, and/or stay. As with any tricks this will take at-home repeated practice/use as well to really help them get the hang of a command with and without a treat. I do not use any corrective collars to train dogs. I use the dogs leash and treats.

A box full of dog toys, some are toys for holding treats, tug of war ropes, plush toys, & hard nylon toys.

Crate training5 credits

I can help you learn how to crate train you dog. I have my own crate that fits up to a 50 lb dog. Any bigger and you'd need to bring your own crate/ kennel. As with all commands, it will require repetitive practice with your dog at your own home so that they feel confident and will follow the command each time. I do not use corrective collars to train dogs. I use their leash to guide them and give a lot of treats and praise.

I love dogs, and I just recently bought this house so that my dog would have a yard of her own to run around in and not keep paying pet rent in an apartment. I grew up with a Staffordshire pit who lived to be 15 years old, and A Mini Australian shepherd who is about 10 years old now. I crate trained and place mat trained my own dog, who is a red healer mix named Killah, and I taught her basic commands as well as some fun tricks such as around, up, down, move, bed, and a food button. I have helped my brother and sister train their own dogs basic commands as well. My dog is not very social with other dogs but loves people; she prefers to be left alone, so she won't be playing with your dog, though you may hear her bark from inside, as she is very vocal. My neighbors do have a dog that will occasionally bark from the opposite side of the tall wooden fence.

Wonderful spot to let your dog off leash! We do have 2 dogs in a dog run to the right side of the property near the house. They are very friendly but may bark out of excitement when you arrive, but Reno and Milo are super friendly. They will not be in the area for your dog but there is a small portion of shared chain linked fence. There is also plenty of space to play with your dog that isn't near Reno nor Milo. Some parts of the year there can be stickers in a small portion of the front yard. This doesn't seem to be a problem for short hair dogs at all, but your pup might get a couple if they have fluffy poodle hair or long hair. Every now and then 2 of the neighbors along the back side of the property have their dog in their backyard. Your dog will be able to see through, as the fence is chain link on the backside. The property is so large, there is definitely room for privacy, however. If you need to use the waterhose, it's on the left side of the house! When you arrive the first time, simply text me thrive the app and I'll let you in the front gate and show you around! Hope to meet you and pup soon.
