There is also a bucket next to the hose that can be filled with water for your pup(s). There is also a fire pit with chairs in the fenced in area that you will have access to.

Bear's Creek 13 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Arrington

Beautiful isolated 13-acre spot in the country. There is a clear, well-maintained marked trail through the woods to an area with springs, a creek, and a watershed. Moving on down the 1/4 mile driveway past the house is a path down to the Tye River that has a nice-sized riverbank (beach) for romping and water splashing. Swimming dogs can venture onto the rocks to explore the river. Those who want to exercise can hike up/down the stream, climb big rocks, and other obstacles. This highly wooded area has lots to explore “off path” and on path, so you can never experience everything in one visit. This is heaven for dogs and for those who prefer a challenging exploration vs a standard field or yard to explore. The walk to the creek/springs/watershed is a beautiful, relatively easy walk. The river walk, while there is a trail, is pretty steep and rocky, and it's a good workout to get back up. Join us at Bear’s Creek for an adventure your dog will thank you for! Rules for the river: Low tide, all are welcome. High tide, swimmers only, or dogs with excellent recall. Raging River, closed to all. Best of all is the freedom your dog will experience, running freely, while you enjoy peace of mind of knowing they are securely and safely contained. Curated & Natural Toys: We provide a generous selection of toys, including balls, launchers, rope toys, and a frisbee. Beyond our collection, the field itself offers natural "treasures" like feathers, leaves, sticks, and bark for your dog to discover, and you are of course welcome to bring your favorites from home. Comfort & Relaxation Zones: Unwind on our handmade bench beneath a canopy in the Haven Headquarters or arrange the three movable chairs to find your perfect relaxation spot. Secure & Picturesque Landscape: Our 4-foot tall welded wire fencing and gate provide a secure environment, even for small dogs. While digging is welcome, we kindly request that pups avoid digging near the fence line to maintain its integrity for all visitors. The Haven boasts a natural landscape with some uneven ground (please exercise caution) and grass maintained at 2-3 inches. There are no nighttime lights, so please plan accordingly. The property is surrounded by forest on three sides, while the remaining side offers scenic views of an adjacent field that should be enjoyed only as part of the view. Embracing Nature & Neighbors: You’ll often see local wildlife such as deer, squirrels, rabbits, turkeys, turtles, and various birds. Our own dogs will be indoors during your visit, but our neighbors are accustomed to our vocal pups and some have their own who may "chat back" if your dogs are talkative!
