Yard Play Rules for Dog Rentals Welcome! We're excited to offer you and your dogs a private, peaceful space to play. Please read and follow these rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience: Exclusive Use of Yard Only your dogs will be allowed in the yard at a time. There will be no other dogs present during your booking, ensuring a stress-free, one-on-one experience for your dog. Supervision Required All dogs must be supervised by their owners at all times. Owners are fully responsible for their dog's behavior, safety, and well-being during the rental period. Leash Policy Dogs must remain on a leash when entering and exiting the yard. Once in the yard, you are welcome to let your dog play off-leash, provided your dog is well-behaved and under control. No Dog Interactions Since the yard is for your dog only, there will be no interaction with other dogs. This ensures that your dog has a private, calm environment to play in. Clean Up After Your Dog Owners must clean up after their dog immediately. Waste bags are provided, and disposal bins are available on-site. Please leave the yard clean and tidy for the next guest. Respect for Yard Space Please respect the boundaries of the yard. Your dog should stay within the designated play area and not be allowed to roam outside the rented space. Pets and Personal Items Please keep your personal belongings and your dog’s items (toys, treats, etc.) within the yard. Any items left behind will not be kept. Thank you for respecting these rules and helping us maintain a safe, peaceful space for your dog to enjoy. Have fun in the yard!

When you book "The Back 40" you have access to the original, smaller, The Mannerly Dog Sniffspot, so no one will be using it while you're here! You'll still have your own private dog park, just a bigger one. You will not see us or our dogs. One neighbor has chickens - they are catty-corner to The Back 40, in the rear. They are in a pen and may cluck or crow at times. the yard catty-corner on the other side occasionally has a couple of dogs in it, but it's pretty rare - it could happen though. You might see or hear humans on the other side of the wooden fence that runs the full 300 feet along the side of both Sniffspots. Otherwise, the area is serene and quiet with plenty of squirrels and birds. Sit and rest or play with your dog - either way, we hope you enjoy your visit!
