Our large, private yard features ample grass as well as a concrete patio to help keep your dog’s nails filed! Our yellow lab’s favorite spot is in the back, by the wheelbarrow and some logs. That’s where he does his best “sniffing”! Please feel free to have a seat at our glass-top picnic table and use the umbrella to block any sun. If you’d like to sit on one of our comfy swivel chairs, we just ask that you re-cover it when done. The cushions are super thick and we want to keep them nice for our guests! We have tennis balls and other toys and please feel free to use the sprinkler if your dog enjoys it!

This back yard is fully fenced with driveway guest parking. There is a mix of both sun and shade, and a hose for water. The grass is treated for bugs in the spring and kept short through the summer. No people or dog distractions at my property, so the place is all yours to wander. I absolutely love making this space comfortable for dogs & owners to stretch their legs in peace. Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer primarily range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Canine Respiratory Illness! Here’s what we are doing! -disposable one-visit bowls are to be found in our bin, please use them for your dogs and then dispose of them before you go or take them home. -we will continue to disinfect the toys provided at least once a day with our dog-safe disinfectant Effer-San. -We ask that you place used toys in the used toy bin after use. - in the summer the patio and grass near the house will be sprayed with our dog-safe disinfectant Wishy-Wash once a day. -We do this for our dogs as well as for yours

Welcome! Our location features a large yard and easy street parking. There is no garage, allowing for lots of space for your pet to run! The yard is fully fenced. In the spring and summer, humans and dogs can enjoy the view of the perennial butterfly garden that lines the yard.🌿 Feel free to use the black garbage cans in the alley to dispose of bagged waste. Easy and free street parking **We strive to keep our yard clean for our family and yours. Please note that in the case of same day or late night scheduling, we will likely not have the ability to do a pre visit walkthrough to ensure that the yard is 100% poop free When we catch the reservation in time and are available, we are ON IT! We have an abundance of city bunnies that play in our gardens at night and you might see some evidence of their travels through our yard. We do our best to stay on top of bunny pellets. 2+ acres of fully fenced (5 ft) small wooded paths (larger unfenced hiking space available in extras) and a large grass area to run. The fence is partially chain link and partially wire pulled between wood posts. The terrain is a mix of grass and wooded areas with small walking paths through the woods. Included in your time at our spot: - Standard Treats For Your Dog - Disposable Water Bowl - Hand Sanitizer - Human Water - Poop Bags - Towel for drying – A Basket of Toys (Cleaned Daily with pet-safe disinfectant) - Hose located near the back door for you to hose boots or dogs before heading home. (Full dog washing station coming early Summer 2024!) - The kiddie pool will be out on hot days for your dog to cool off in! Swing set available for kids to use, at your own risk and under your supervision, while their pet runs around, however; the trampoline is strictly off-limits. Check out our extras that you may add, including premium dog treats from Mountain Dog Cookie Co, a kiddie pool for your dog in the summer months, additional unfenced space for your dog to explore their primal instincts (perfect for sporting dogs!), and even some human treats! Canine Respiratory Illness, what are we doing about it? We've taken a few extra precautions to keep our dogs & visitors safe. In our welcome basket, you'll find disposable bowls that you may use the hose next to the back door to fill up for your pup! Please dispose of your bowl in the garbage can next to the welcome basket. Additionally, toys in the basket will also be wiped down at least once per day with a pet-safe disinfectant. **The host is not responsible for any harm caused to you, your children, or your pets while using the swing set.**
