Top Public & Private Dog Parks in Grayslake, IL

This was my first time using Sniffspot and Sydney's yard did not disappoint. I needed to get the dogs out while my parents house was being cleaned so I booked last minute. Sydney was quick to respond to my question and let me know the property was available. The yard is clean and large and has the perfect fully opaque fence for my reactive dogs. The chicken coop was a huge plus because it kept my pups fully entertained and they enjoyed running around the yard and running over to the coop to check out the chickens. I would definitely book again, great experience!

This is a great fully fenced-in yard with some seating, a water bowl, and toys for the dogs. I felt safe letting my reactive dogs roam and sniff. My dogs loved it.

Was exactly what my dog needed today. Clean yard with tall fences to block out distractions. Was originally concerned about the chickens but my dog did not seem to mind them at all and barely paid them any notice. Fresh and clean water was left out for us as well as a basket of toys to play with. Will visit again.

Sydney is wonderful! She accommodated a last minute schedule change. The yard is always clean and she has lots of toys and water out. One of my favorite places to visit

Lovely backyard. Perfect for playing fetch and running around. There was a water dish for our Moxy. We hope to return!

Beautiful backyard that is very clean and organized so that my dog couldn't get into anything. Plus their chicken are so cute. My dog loved watching them in their little domain.

My dog had a great time. The grass was cut and the fencing is secure. It was very easy to find the home and the side gate for entrance. There was fresh water and some toys available as well. Will definitely be back!

Spot was as described. Happy with our visit and my dog Zelda got a chance to get really muddy and smelly playing in the water which she loved! Fencing was adequate for our needs.

Beautiful space! Our dogs loved jumping off the dock into the lake and then running all around the yard. We would definitely visit again. The hosts were great communicators and friendly.

Great scenic view! Our pup was able to sniff and run around. Bring bug spray especially at night. Other than that perfect place. Will be coming back :)

Great backyard and very nice people. When needing to ask a question I just went on the app and asked and they came right out to help! Also lovely lake and has shade for very hot days. Happy they provided a hose/water bowl because my dogs were thirsty. Overall great experience

This was such a fun spot for my dog to run around and swim. The owner was super nice as well. I will definitely be going back to swim and kayak next time! Note that this is not the best spot for highly reactive dogs as there are lots of people and dogs at the public beach next door, who are only separated by water. Fortunately mine is pretty social. But if your dog is okay with that, I highly recommend!

Great Sniffspot. Boba had a great time! She swam, ran, sniffed, basically had a grand ol’ time! Probably more because of my rambunctious dog exploring everything, she got some little cuts on bottom of couple of paws and her back legs. It didn’t stop her any and she showed no discomfort until we got home. But she’s still running and playing with us around house, so nothing to worry about just to caution. It’s not terribly big for a lot of exploration and sniffing but I mainly wanted Boba to swim, so mission accomplished. We also brought flying disc and tugging toy too. She slept all the way home and earlier too. I had to place a chair in front a small gap in fence that was covered with pile of woods. The fence was fine for us because Boba too happy to swim, explore, swam to the fisherman to care, but if you have strong dog especially jumper like our previous dog, it would not hold. Yami was very nice and responsive. We will be back.

Yami has a cool SniffSpot. Located in my own community on the private residential inlet. Lotsa of sticks, lake, great place to play. The owner provided water and bags ( left mine in the car :( ... ). Tessi met the 3 resident dogs. I muzzled her because I am a spaz. We are learning to meet other dogs.... awesome yard spot, lovely hosts. There are plenty of chairs to sit and enjoy the constant sun. Priced a little higher but worth the expense.
