There is a rock wall around the property that separates our property from the neighbor’s property and from the woods. The property is not fully enclosed. There is no fence separating your dog from the pond.

The pond empties out into a bigger body of water that is connected by a large pipe. A small child or small dog can easily fit into the pipe so be careful.

The Newburgh Dog House

Our spot is located right across the road from the beautiful Chadwick Lake in Newburgh! We have 1/4 acre fenced in backyard with regularly trimmed grass. About half of the yard is flat and the other half is on a hill. The hill is great for tiring out your pup! It backs up to a wooded area. There is a deck and a patio with furniture and umbrellas. We provide dog toys that are sanitized between visits. Please BYO water and bowl/container. Hope to have you for a visit soon! Lots of trails - some maintained some unmaintained - choose your own adventure or we can point you in the direction of our favorites. Great if you want to let your dog off leash hike but don’t want to risk running into any other dogs - we have 80 acres and no neighbors and a private road! I have 2 dogs who will stay inside while you’re here, we have a fenced area right by the house we use for them/ this can be booked upon request but is generally just for our dogs.
