IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Please note it's pretty muddy in Winter so best to bring gumboots. Dogs don't mind but your sneakers will. Has been designed of more of a safe training place for dogs who may be reactive. Ample space to run and play but also alot of obstacles etc for building confidence etc. Deer fenced apart from gate area which is around 1.5m high. If you have an escape artist you will need to keep an eye on them. You can drive right in and shut the gates behind you. Please note this space is also used by others so if you have a last minute booking with less than 2 hours notice we may be using it ourselves on arrival. Depending on whats happening at the time you may have to wait. All bookings with more than 2 hours notice are no problem at all and the space will be empty for you to use. Please do not go to the property with the houses on as you will set the dogs off. The parking instructions are very clear with a satellite image of where the yard is. It is the paddock on the opposite side to where the houses are. Pur Sniffspot will be oficially closed from 9th of january 2026 indefinately. There is only parking for a maximum of 2 cars. In summer can get more in but in winter limited to 2 cars. You will need to carpool if booking as a group.

Mostly dog proof fenced except for possible gaps around the turned over tree trunk in the left rear paddock. Please take care, I cannot guarantee an impenetrable fence! Gaps pop up constantly being a farm. There’s a lovely creek running through the property so great for dogs that love splashing in water. Available from 1pm weekdays and all day on weekends. Just tell them you live at number 1527 and they will let you through** A great location for both owners and dogs to unwind, featuring a creek bordered by native trees that have stood for centuries. There are park benches available for you to sit back and relax and a dedicated area for your dogs to swim and cool off on a hot summers day. The main big creek has water all year round. Notes for guests to be aware of: The bank next to the creek has several steep slopes that drop down to the water, so please exercise caution if you have children with you. Unfortunately we no longer provide a consistent supply of dog toys as they all go missing, sometimes the same day they are put out! There will be toys out on the odd occasion and we usually provide a good stack of sticks for dogs to enjoy but otherwise feel free to bring your dogs favourite toy with you 🙂 Neighbours barking dog: Our neighbour who runs the Sniffspot 15 acre adventure farm in Karaka lives next door to us and lets their German Shepard bark ALL the time even when they are home so there is a high chance you might encounter it on arrival or departure, the dog is 70m away from my place & cannot be seen only heard as it barks loud. We have had over 700 past reservations and not had any issues so far so your dog should be fine seems the dog cannot be seen & is a good distance away.
