Description
DOG PARK RULES • Dogs are to be monitored. Owners and custodians are legally responsible for the activities of their dog(s) and are prohibited from leaving their dogs unattended. Dogs must be accompanied by a capable and responsible person. • No aggressive dogs allowed. Dogs showing aggression towards people or other dogs must be immediately removed from the park. Other inappropriate behavior (e.g. digging, excessive barking, nipping) should be humanely curbed. • Clean up. Patrons must immediately clean up after their dogs. Bags and trashcans are provided for proper disposal. • Collars and leashes. Dogs must be leashed when entering or exiting the park. Leashes must be kept in hand at all times. A basic flat buckle collar or harness is required within the park (no pinch or choke chains). • Tags required. Dogs must wear up-to-date rabies vaccination and county pet license tags. • Limit of two dogs per owner. No more than two dogs per person are allowed in the park at the same time. • Children. All children must be supervised. Children under 12 are strongly discouraged. • Humane treatment. Dogs are to be treated humanely in accordance with the City of Bowie Animal Control ordinance. • No business use of park. Professional dog trainers may not use this facility to conduct their business. • Smaller fenced area. Ideal for small dogs, shy dogs and puppies older than four months. • Strictly prohibited: o NO dogs in heat o NO dogs younger than four months o NO food or dog treats NO smoking o No City liability. The City is not responsible for any injury to a pet, pet owner, custodian or visitor to the park. The City is not responsible for the loss or theft of or damage to any personal property

Welcome to the Blue House Play Park! (The light blue house) Easy to find and convenient entrance to the backyard right in front of the driveway. Feel free to park on the drive or in front of the house if parking is available, or anywhere you see fit in the cul-de-sac. You will have uninterrupted time with your pup(s) in my large fenced-in backyard. I have one doggo but won't be outside during your booked time. Feel free to use the hose for water and the trash can to dispose of waste. I have a container of dog toys available for use, as well as added agility equipment for those who wish to do a little training. Feel free to use the hose/wash area to rinse off your dogs paws after play, no need to add the extra for that. The extra is if you want all the other stuff included for a more in depth bathing. The grass in the yard is cut every two weeks during the summer leading into the fall months. There may be some divots/holes in the yard so please watch your footing.

Dogs should have reliable recall and be comfortable off-leash in an open setting. Wildlife scents are present due to the wooded edge. From time to time, ATVs may pass by on the road. They are not constant, but this may not be the best space for dogs who are highly reactive to moving vehicles or who like to chase.
