Bear Brook Canine Camp

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends. My name is Seth and I've been a lifelong dog owner. I've always loved getting out for adventures and finding new spots to let dogs romp off leash. My dogs Boss and Kona were temperamental with other dogs so it was always important to find safe spots to let them off leash. They were the inspiration for my fenced in backyard! Kona passed in September 2022 and Boss passed in July 2023, so I've opened up the space to those who might need a fenced in area to help their dog(s) expend that energy! We believe a tired dog is a happy dog, and an even happier owner 😉

Property known as Walnut Hill has 30+ acres of unfenced woods and rough trails of nearly two miles. Dogs are free to run untethered if appropriate for the dog and handler.

River Lily Farm

Our farm is open fields, lots of riverfront area for dogs to swim, and in the summer grab some vegetables at the farm stand. There are ungroomed walking trails that go around the entire property. Center of property tends to be wet. My personal dogs will remain inside the house while you are here. Bring your own poop bags please. Dogs with good recall are allowed off leash, at your own risk, please. We love all breeds of dogs with every quirk and ability. We respect that all dogs have different temperaments; all dogs are welcome, no matter how they feel towards strangers or other animals. We will do our 100% best to ensure no person or domestic animal will bother you on your adventure here. We work in animal rescue and commit that all proceeds will go towards continuing to help abandoned, abused, and neglected pets. Thank you for enjoying our peaceful space. The street facing part of the yard has 6ft privacy fence and the rent has a combo of chain link, 6ft wood or heavy duty wire. The yard is very secure for both large and small dogs. We have lots of birds, squirrel and chipmunks, and occasionally a raccoon or fox visits so the smells are endless. We hope your pup(s) will enjoy it as Miah as ours does.
