We are pleased to invite you and your dog to our lovely fully fenced in area on our 12 acre property in the countryside of Montpelier, VA. 30 min from downtown Richmond, VA - come escape to the quiet and tranquil area we have set up and fenced off for dogs. An additional nature area for walking is available in the back; however, dogs MUST be leashed in this area, as it is not fully fenced back there. Walking trails have been cut and wildlife is often seen in our little sanctuary. Please be mindful of neighbors and leave the area as you found it. Be sure to close ALL gates before you leave & please pick up after your pet. Thank you! *No smoking while on premise, please and thank you!* Please practice Leave No Trace.

Rock Springs Farm (650 acres worlds largest Sniffspot)

Welcome to the World’s Largest Sniffspot (Confirmed). There’s all kinds of areas to let your dog sniff and romp around! Upon arrival you may romp around in any field as far as your eyes can see. We just harvested corn September 2024 and the land is wide open and crop free until spring! There’s google earth maps showing property lines in yellow in the pictures. Over 80 acres of undeveloped woods and creeks, close enough to the city, but feels like the country. Here you can find places to roam freely far away from hectic city life. Bring your camera, metal detectors, pups, and bug spray, sunscreen, (provided when available!) Under slow construction for updates and features, its a great adventure spot if you and your furry friends are the curious and active type! It’s off-leash friendly with plenty of room to run, sniff, play fetch, or just roll around in the sun. There’s no other dogs on site during your booking, so your dog gets the whole space to themselves. Water bowls, shade, and waste bags provided. Perfect for high-energy dogs, reactive pups, or anyone who just wants a safe, private adventure.

Fully Fenced Yard Ideal for Dogs and Kids! Mechanicsville

From a gate at the driveway, walk up a small hill to access a large space for playing! To the right there is a covered porch with swings, tables, chairs, an outlet, doggy towels, and a basket of extras for guests. There is a children’s swing set, playhouse, sandbox, soccer goal, and slide available to play with. Additional seating for the yard is available to set up if you’d like! WiFi password is posted on the table. We love our backyard and hope you enjoy it too! Smoking cigarettes is allowed on the porch, but please use the provided ash tray.

It has everything a pup could ask for: an open clearing for zoomies or game of fetch, shady woods and nooks and crannies to investigate, SO MANY critter sniff trails, and dirt, leaves and grass to dig in! It's also a great space for humans of all sizes to explore! You can even try your hand at a game of bocci ball while you're here in our gravel court! Easy side-street parking on Kamankeag makes accessing the yard through the back gate a piece of cake! *OUR FENCING IS NOT SUITABLE FOR VERY SMALL DOGS OR ESCAPE ARTISTS.*
