55Franklin & I absolutely love this spot! It’s taken us a minute to come back and I was really surprised to find an umbrella table and chairs. There was also a sun shade for pups to lay under. It was a nice fall day so didn’t need the bug spray, etc. and best of all Franklin enjoyed himself. I’ll def be back. Go check it out. You will not be disappointed. Toni M.

FYI - this spot is basically across the street from Patrick Henry’s Scotchtown house - I had no idea this even existed. There’s a picnic shelter there if you wanted to also stop and do a nice walk and have some food. We will definitely be back. The host was great as our original time was rained out and he was soo communicative helping me reschedule. Such a fun day! Toni M.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
