Good Dogs (and Humans) Should: Enjoy the park with up to three (3) dogs per person in the off-leash area. Keep your dog(s) current on distemper, parvovirus, and rabies vaccinations. Dogs should also receive year-round heartworm prevention treatment and flea prevention treatment. Do clean up after your dog(s). Help by picking up orphan poops to keep the park clean and disease-free. Do keep dogs on a leash while entering and exiting the dog park. Enter with caution if other dogs are already present within the park. Do play with a frisbee, balls, and retrieval toys, but be prepared to share with other park visitors. Keep dogs in view and under control at all times. Dogs must be under voice control at all times. Do Not Allow your dog(s) to stand at or near the gate as people are trying to enter. Enter if another dog is at the gate unattended. Leave your dog(s) unattended. Allow your dog(s) to dig in the park; owners must fill any holes caused by their dog(s). Use the off-leash area for conducting professional training classes without approval. Climb on or over the fence. Use bicycles, skateboards, roller skates or blades, or any motorized devices except wheelchairs in the park. Use devices that use an explosive force to propel a retrievable object. Allow your children to play on or with the dog agility equipment. Not Allowed In The Park Children under the age of 16 unless accompanied by an adult. Children tend to scream and run when excited, which can trigger a dog’s prey drive or instinct to chase. For this reason and the safety of your children, we do not recommend bringing small children and infants into the dog park. The dog agility equipment is for dogs only. Children need to be supervised and kept off the equipment. Aggressive dogs into the park. Owners must carry leashes with them and leash and remove their dogs from the off-leash area at the first sign of aggression. Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries or damage caused by their dogs. Dogs who are in heat. Puppies under four months of age. Other Animals Ill or injured dogs. Water is suitable for dogs during spring, summer, and fall. The park is still open in the winter. Long-lasting chews for dogs. Small bite-sized training treats are allowed.

We are a dog loving home located on a large lot right off the Illinois Prairie Path in Lombard! Perfect spot for owners who already walk their companions on the path to stop and have some playtime or extra training time. (We just ask you make reservations before planning your visit) Join our Facebook Group ‘Kefy Dog Park’ to find Yard Updates & how other friends are enjoying our spot! https://www.facebook.com/share/ix7uGd3kp5R6DqxA/?mibextid=K35XfP We have a Newfoundland who will be inside during visits & chickens who will be in their coop/chicken run. Our favorite times of year to see our Newfie play outside are winter (he loves to catch snowballs, chase our kids and then lay in the cold snow)…and the summer when he lays in the cool grass and plops himself down in the kiddie pool. We hope your doggies will love to enjoy our yard just as much!

Take a dip in the creek! Beautiful secluded acreage with mature trees
Beautiful secluded property with a creek running through it. The backyard is about 1 acre with a big open field surrounded by large mature trees and a creek bordering the back side. Dogs must be trained not to run off as we do not have a fence. Old fence posts show the property lines. You can to take a dip in the creek with your dog to cool off on hot days. The water does flow so I wouldn't recommend it for really small dogs. The water is fairly shallow but can get high and flow fast after heavy rain. You will have to walk down a small hill to enter the creek. The weeds get high by the water but I have made 2 separate paths to enter the creek. Entering the creek is at your own risk. The creek is on the property line so the land across the creek is not part of the property so please do not go across the creek. If you do plan on going in the creek I recommend water shoes and a towel, it can get muddy by the water. And it can also get buggy, so you might want to bring bug spray as well. Feel free to move any of the chairs from the firepit to anywhere around the yard but put back when finished. Please clean up after your pup, garbage can is the green one by the garage. You can park on the left side of driveway by the RV and enter on the left side of the garage.

The Red Door Salt Creek Sanctuary - Fully Fenced 1/2 Acre
Fall/Winter update: the yard is DARK after 5pm. Hose is off for winterization, so please bring water. Our 1/2 acre fully fenced dog-friendly yard is here to host your special furry friends. We live a short, straight-shot drive from Chicago and are butt-up against the beautiful Salt Creek (and all the wild life that also calls the creek "home" - bunnies, squirrels, groundhogs, birds, garden snakes (harmless, but present in May), etc.). The head of Salt Creek Trail is located just a block away on Thomas Street, so feel free to explore the creek/trail after your yard time. It leads all the way to Villa Park, where you can catch the Prairie Path / Great Western Trail. You'll pass by MORE Brewing Company as well as outdoor bar and food trucks Fuel and Creme (ice cream). Make a day of it! Please note that even though the yard IS fully fenced, it is comprised of a variety of sizes shapes ranging from 6 feet privacy, raw iron, to 4 foot chain-link, barn wood with chicken wire between the wood gaps. You know your dog's "flight risk" better than anyone, so please make smart decisions when booking our yard. Dispose of poop bags in the BLUE TOP bin (green is recycle). Finally, note that we can only host 2 dogs at a time due to wear and tear on the yard. Have fun!
