Description

Large fully-fenced yard with plenty of lawn space for dogs to run and play. One large oak tree shades portions of the yard. We have side neighbors but no back neighbors. There is a swing9 and bench in the yard for seating, and two Adirondack chairs (with pillows, side tables, and one ottoman) with a large umbrella on the patio.

Additional rules

Please don't allow dogs to step on flowerbed plants or pee on plants/furniture. They do pee on garden plants or furniture, please use the provided hose and sprayer to rinse them off.

The Back 40

When you book "The Back 40" you have access to the original, smaller, The Mannerly Dog Sniffspot, so no one will be using it while you're here! You'll still have your own private dog park, just a bigger one. You will not see us or our dogs. One neighbor has chickens - they are catty-corner to The Back 40, in the rear. They are in a pen and may cluck or crow at times. the yard catty-corner on the other side occasionally has a couple of dogs in it, but it's pretty rare - it could happen though. You might see or hear humans on the other side of the wooden fence that runs the full 300 feet along the side of both Sniffspots. Otherwise, the area is serene and quiet with plenty of squirrels and birds. Sit and rest or play with your dog - either way, we hope you enjoy your visit!
