Rice Creek Sniffspot

A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Please PM for details BEFORE booking!*** Charming urban oasis located within minutes of Downtown Minneapolis. Yard is flat and spacious, perfect for zoomies or laying around in the grass. Relax in comfy chairs on the patio or under the NEW! pergola while your pups play. Fresh water provided, and a waste station is in the SW corner. We don't use lawn chemicals, so your pup is always safe to roll in the clover or nibble on grass. Plenty of street parking (please do not park in the driveway) and a private entrance along the north side of the property. Please make sure gate is securely closed before leaving. Resident dog may bark briefly from indoors at you but will be out of direct sight. If your pup is reactive to sound, please let me know ahead of time & I will do my best to remove mine from the property while you visit. All proceeds from this Spot go to dog rescue. <3 SUMMER: Kiddie pool will be setup in warmer weather (65F and up) unless guest requests otherwise. There is a shallow plastic splashpad for littles/nervous dogs- please add on as an extra (no cost/free) if you want it setup (see photos for details), it requires a special hose hookup so I don't set it out unless asked.

I have an irregularly shaped, fully-fenced backyard that is more long and narrow than square and great for games of fetch. Fence is 4 ft high and is a combination of linked chain/wood privacy fence. There are dogs that live on the other side of one of the linked chain sides of the fence that are outside sometimes.

Come and enjoy our own private 3plus acres of wooded with some open space and trails. Fully fenced in and secure. So much space for your fur babies to run and explore. No need to stress with other dogs that may be reactive. Or maybe your pup doesn’t play well with others and prefers their own space. Our private dog park is for you. This space is amazing. It is not attached to our back yard and is a completely separate and private area. A great place for play dates with others, maybe even a picnic for the humans. Bring your snowshoes if you would like a bit of a workout yourself off trail in the deeper snow! PLEASE NOTE: Zero tolerance for smoking of ANYTHING while on our property. You may smoke in your own personal vehicle. But also, do NOT leave your dogs unattended. Please pick up after your dog. I am finding a crazy amount of poop left behind. Fill any holes you pup digs and return toy to bin. Also, in the winter months, please be aware that their is no lighting in the field. The designated Sniffspot parking area has ample lighting but none in the field.

Welcome to our safe haven! In this club, there is no such thing as a bad dog and ALL dogs and humans are welcome and loved. I am the proud mama of two fearful and reactive dogs and work as a caregiver specializing in special needs animals and dogs with special behavior cases, esp. fear-based aggression. We built this yard specifically for fence jumpers and dogs that need and deserve a quiet and private space to play and feel safe. Our spot’s entrance is remotely controlled, allowing us to ensure there is zero risk of anyone entering the yard during your visit. We believe our guests deserve security and privacy, and will never enter the yard unless you have specifically requested that we do (i.e. if there is an emergency and you have expressly asked me to come out to the yard and help you). Our yard is spacious, wooded, and green with full 8ft privacy fencing including inwardly-angled fence extenders. Doggie extras: get ready for wooded trails, “barkour” obstacles, the perfect grassy bowl for fetch, agility jumps and tunnels, a tennis ball bit, splash pool in the summer, and so much more. My backyard is almost 1 acre of fully fenced fun! Conveniently located, easy parking. Low visibility of other dogs or people. Tons of room to run and sniff! The water is usually left ready to go, but the spigot on the side of the house is off. To use it, open the valve on the side of the house by the driveway. When you leave, please shut it off again, it tends to drip otherwise. Thanks!

Come enjoy our expansive, completely fenced-in backyard, which is roughly 1/2 an acre. We charge $15/hour/dog. The 2nd & 3rd dogs are 50% off. We are happy to share our backyard with dog(s) and their owners who would like to have a very large, private place for their dogs to run, sniff, and play. The area is on the edge of a rural setting. Enjoy expanses of wide open area as hayfields surround our property. There are many areas for the humans to sit and watch their dog(s) run around and have fun. There is a picnic table, benches, tables/chairs, and gliders. Have fun watching our critters whose pens are just on the other side of our backyard. We have horses, goats, ducks, and chickens. (Dogs are not allowed in with the farm animals.) We have a fenced in garden area within the backyard. The garden is surrounded by rose bushes. In the middle is a courtyard with glider benches around a propane fire pit, a table/chairs, with a tiered water fountain in the middle. (Dogs not allowed within the garden area.) Enjoy the many types of birds that fly overhead on their way to Peltier Lake. There are also Sandhill cranes that show up periodically, as well as turkeys & geese. Treat your dog to a wide open area to sniff, play, and run to their heart’s content. Treat yourself to a pleasant setting that is like no other. We look forward to your visit!

This is a great little spot with alot of privacy once you are down the hill by the river. There is an open field for the dogs to run and play catch with a mix of grass and sand, There are multiple spots where the dogs and people can get into the water if you wish . I also have a picnic table and some chairs down there to sit and relax at , it is very peaceful and private. I also offer overnight camping for guests for 100 a night , I have a nice large lodge style tent set up overlooking the river , there is a grill picnic table , firepit a couple fishing poles or you could always bring your own. I also have kayaks and a canoe available for rent also.
