Paws4ever Dog Park and Nature Trail DOG PARK RULES ● Park only in the designated dog park parking lot while visiting the park and trails. This is the area directly in front of the dog park entry gate. Parking and walking in areas in front of the buildings is not permitted. ● Enter and exit the dog park safely as instructed at gate signs, and during posted hours only. ● To protect the health of all of the dogs, only bring your dogs when they are feeling well and parasite free. It takes a pain-free and healthy dog to be able to interact and socialize nicely. ● Only enter the park after making sure that your dog is compatible with the dogs already inside the park ● Be considerate of fellow members and their dogs. ● Keep your dog(s) under careful and direct supervision at all times, and never leave your dog alone in the park. ● Children under 10 are not allowed in the park. Children over 10 may enter the park but should be supervised by an adult at all times. ● Comply with on-site Paws4ever staff requests to ensure safety. ● Pick up after your dog, and dispose of trash in the proper receptacles. Bring extra bags just in case. ● Smoking or vaping is not permitted in the dog park or on the nature trails. ● Members are eligible to use the dog park and nature trails only as defined, and should not enter other fenced areas or walk their dog around the kennel area, Learning Center, or training fields. ● Members agree to comply with Paws4ever policy prohibiting the use of harsh language or correction of their dogs. This includes but is not limited to the following: o Slip, choke, prong, pinch, or similar plastic collars are not permitted while on Paws4ever property. o Electronic devices such as correction/stim e-collars, bark devices, shock or spray devices, and fence collars are not permitted while on Paws4ever property. o Corrective devices of any kind, including air horns and dog corrector devices, are not permitted while on Paws4ever property. ● Members agree not to use a retractable leash in an unlocked position or locked above an 8 foot length while walking outside of the dog park. Retractable leashes are not allowed inside the dog park. ● Members agree to report any bite incidents involving their dog whether occurring on site or elsewhere. ● Direct questions, concerns, and report problems in writing directly to dogpark@paws4ever.org.
