55Fully fenced and quiet. Dog toys, poop bags, and water hose available. It was pretty chilly and windy compared to home so definitely wear a jacket. Thanks for having us!
55This was our first Sniffspot experience and we loved it! The yard was clearly marked, it was clean, fully fenced, private, and there were toys & water available. The yard is big enough for my 40# dog to run around in and play fetch. It’s great, and I’d definitely return.
55Lovely spot for my sensi-bully. Clean and orderly place. Thank you!
55Quiet and clean with lots of foraging spots to toss treats into! Calvin enjoyed his time while we met with our trainer to start working together.
55There are so many thoughtful touches that I appreciate, like the boxes of balls and the clean water for the dogs.
35This was my first sniffspot experience, and while this spot is as advertised, I wanted to share a comment for the other reactive dog owners out there. I wish I had known going into this spot that there would be other dogs (a few doors down) outside in their backyards. While my dog could not see the other dogs, she and I could hear them. This turned what I thought would be a chance for my 6-month-old pup to run around into a chance to fixate. When she wasn't barking at the other dogs and lunging at a small gap in the fence, she had a great time. I would consider going back to this spot, but as a reactive dog owner, I would have to be prepared for the possibility that my dog might exceed her threshold.
55This spot was super fun and chill, big enough for my 50 lb dog to have lots of zoomies and play fetch. There were no dogs nearby. There were clean balls and water available and the yard itself was beautiful with plenty of plants to sniff. Even though it rained a bunch this week, it was barely muddy in my opinion, there was no soupy mud which is ideal if you don't have an easy way to wash your dog. Definitely recommend this spot and I think it would be ideal for most reactive dogs.
55We had a great time with the pups here, thank you!! I appreciated the toys and water too :)
55Robyn’s backyard was great! Easy street parking, visible entry with a sign, water bowl and ball bins set up, and a nice deck with seating to hang out on. The yard was a bit muddy, but we went after a bunch of rain so to be expected. We appreciate you sharing your space, Robyn!!
55Great spot in Oakland! The yard is the perfect shape for some quality zoomies; there were also some shared toys and the space was very clean. We’ll be back!

Description

I have a large space that I am sure a dog will love to run in. In the winter, post rain, it can get VERY muddy back there. Years of dogs running around has torn up a lot of the ground cover and it's now just dirt, which becomes mud in the winter. In the summer, the "grass" (more weeds than actual grass) gets very dry. There are some burrs due to the dryness so if your dog has longer fur they might get some attached to them. I do my best to weed the weeds that produce them, but there still might be some. It's a fairly large open space with a longer run on the side. Also, I want to note that in the back of the property the fence is lower, around 4/4.5 feet (the rest of the yard is at least 6 feet), so if your dog is a good jumper, this could be an issue. Happy playing!

Hello, my name is Robyn. I bought this house a few years ago and when a friend of mine was over she suggested that I help out urban dog owners that might not have a place to let their dogs run free. Sounded like a great idea to me. I love dogs and would be happy to share my space with them.

Private 2 Acre Forest Swimming Hole In Rural Woodside

This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE AT THIS FOREST LOCATION. PACK EVERYTHING OUT WITH YOU, INCLUDING DOG POOP BAGGIES. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is less than 5 minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around if you see a waterfall downstream or a house in the distance. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards. This is a private spot, and there should be no other people or dogs during your booking. If you see someone during your booking, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can take steps to prevent them from trespassing again. There is no lighting at this spot, so if you book before sunrise or after sunset, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. There is no trash collection service at this location, so please pack out any trash. Thank you!
