It is fully fenced & very secure which is perfect for reactive, anxious, or escape-prone dogs. We have a GSP who is an escape artist, and we've made sure it's safe for her. There are tons of oak trees + natural shade which makes the property cooler and more comfortable with the Florida Sun. Our dogs love the property so much we wanted to share it with others. There is a pond on the property where dogs can swim and enjoy the natural setting. There is a fountain and fish in the pond (primarily small Blue Gill and Catfish). We have never seen any gators on the property. They would have to climb the 6 foot fence to get in. Great for multi-dog families. There is enough room for everyone to run free! The property is set back a little from the road. It feels very peaceful. Indoor restroom access available! Hideaway Trails Retreat is 5 acre half of a fully fenced 10 acre area. There is no fence with the neighboring parcel which is separated by beautiful Florida wild. There is a parking area near the hosts house. Beyond that is trails and forest for our furry friends to play and explore! For now the retreat does occasionally get visited by a friendly free roaming neighbor dog. So if you want a truly private area without interruption, we cannot guarantee that experience until we are able to complete a future fence dividing the neighboring 5 acre parcel.
