55Visited first time today and me and my pups had a great time. The huge yard is beautiful and fully equipped for fun. Nice cool shaded area, puppy pools and sensory spots, toys. Suzanne is so kind and welcoming, it’s easy to see she loves pets of any size. I am working on preparing my 1 year olds for travel, rest stop potty breaks on a leash, etc and I appreciate having a secure, lovely spot to take them as I train them, And then, of course, my boys had a blast playing and laying in the shade on the beautiful grass. I can’t recommend this place enough to travelers and locals too. I’ve got almost 3 months left here in Alamogordo and we will be weekly visitors. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
