Come let your dog(s) play in our fully fenced, 2 acre yard. The yard is fully fenced with stockade fencing on three sides and black chainlink along the back. Very small dogs may be able to squeeze out the back gate along the woods line, so please pay close attention. The yard has tons of shade trees and you are welcome to sit on the deck while your dog explores. The pool is extra, so please consider this when booking. The pool is also fully fenced. There are chairs in the pool area as well! We will provide dog towels - please hang them on the pool fence when you are done. People are welcome to swim, but please bring your own towels. We do have life jackets that you are welcome to use, but you may want to bring your own so you a sure it fits your dog. Please do not allow your dog to potty in the pool area. Kids are okay, but they must be under direct adult supervision (over 18) at all times. Please know, for everyone's safety, we do have cameras in the yard.

There’s lots to do for each and every one of you. With the entire 0.5-acre backyard fully enclosed by a new’ish and secure chain-link fence (Fall 2022), your pups are free to safely roam, sniff, fetch and run to their hearts’ delight. And, wow… you are surely going to love watching them go!! Zoom-Zoom. Pool… Yup, we have a pool! Is your pup a swimmer? Or a swimmer wanna be? Our pool is the perfect spot to splish-splash away! Our website provides all the details, as an Extra, with plenty of photos showing what to expect, which includes towels and life vests. NOTE: pool use is an Extra flat fee, as listed in the Extras section. Consider this added cost when booking for your visit. The areas along the perimeter of the yard are wooded and make for fun pathways for explorations. There are twigs and branches as you would expect in a woody area. The central portion of the yard is sloped and open. This makes for plenty of romping and heavy-duty running- including long throws of a ball or a frisbee. We have tennis balls & a tennis ball thrower. Check out all of the photos and read the accompanying descriptions to get a better idea of how Sammy’s Playground will appeal to you and your furry friends!! And don’t worry about the yard (too much). There’s divots and mounds all around, no manicured lawns when dogs are at play. Go for it guys… Enjoy!! And, during off-season, the pool cover is elephant and dog proof. The dogs are allowed on the pool cover. It’s our hope that we do our absolute best to provide our Guests with the best experience each time they come over AND that our Guests remain as great as each have been - that we can continue to avoid any reason to raise our hourly rate. We are uncomfortable with doing this, because it goes against the spirit of our objective for Sammy’s Playground in the first place: providing a safe and secure environment for dogs of all kinds to enjoy off-leash “true-dog” experiences with their loving humans. Then, lift the knob on top of the gate and push the gate open… you’re in! The gate automatically closes behind you. Please confirm that it has engaged into the closed position and then turn the key to lock yourself in. DO NOT REMOVE THE KEY. Confirm that you have locked yourself in by seeing the little red dot and not being able to lift the knob. The photos section includes views of the gate, key and lock. MUST: when you leave, lock the gate. Doubly ensure that you have done so by lifting the knob. Upon leaving, leave the spot as you found it. Folks with multiple dogs should do a walk-about around the yard to ensure that all dog poop has been cleaned up. Toys, for staged toys, you can leave as is. Our privacy fencing and large yard allows you and your dog to have a safe place away from unfamiliar people / other dogs*. It's great for getting your dog some different sniffs and letting them off leash for a game of fetch! *Our neighbor does have a dog who may be outside during your visit. The neighbor's dog is friendly and absolutely cannot get into our yard. This spot is a large fenced in yard. It has a small wooden area for pups to explore. There is a lacrosse net and netting in part of the yard for my kids when they play lacrosse backyard. They won’t be back there when the yard is rented. Please make sure to read the directions for parking and where to enter the backyard entrance as it is a bit hidden. Please go down Littlefield Rd. Take the first left onto an unmarked street. You will see a middle school field on your right. Our metal gate entrance is on your left. Welcome to our Sniffspot area in Sturbridge (Fiskdale) MA. We are excited to provide an off leash play space for your furry bestie. Conveniently located close to the Massachusetts Turnpike and Rte 84. The Sniffspot area is in a quiet residential, wooded area. There is a sportsman's club a ways down the road, and if there is an event, occasionally, the range can be audible. Most dogs have been completely unbothered by it. While I usually require advance notice, if you message me, and I'm able to immediately respond, I may be able to accommodate last minute reservations. This space is highly maintained and the lawn will always be cut, there is plenty of space for you and your pups to run free and feel themselves. If your pups likes to swim we highly encourage you guys to take a dip in the pond, Browns Pond is a natural pond located in Peabody that covers an area of about 28 acres. It's known for its exquisite beauty. You can also relax, our place provides plenty of seating arrangements and we recommend for u to bring your fishing rod if you wish. This place also provides treats, a water bowl and a hose so if your pups decide they want to go swimming we highly recommend cleaning your dog off. Welcome!! Fully fenced, large grassy yard with hammocks, outdoor couch, and dining table/chairs in a neighborhood location perfect for walks before or after your booking. The yard is fully fenced with a majority being a 6ft tall newly installed fence. The shed side of the yard is close to a neighbors house and in the summertime you can expect to hear them but privacy trees behind the shed block the view so you won’t see them. The rest of the neighbors houses are much farther away as the house is conveniently located on a double lot. Enjoy the hammocks and couches as you wish!
