I have T-Mobile and Wi-Fi was almost non-existent. Once that issue was resolved it was easy to locate, signage on property is small so stay vigilant, parking is next to the bridge. I got lost and hosts were very kind and helpful. Paths were clear and all dirt but some areas can be steep so wear appropriate shoes for the river hike. I booked 3 hours in the morning which is more than enough and temp was cool. Was able to explore everything then give my dogs a rest and do it all over again. If you go off path there are burs everywhere, had to check the pups feet frequently and after. River hike is a small area but we spent a lot of time there, lots of seating and shade. No bathrooms, water, or feces disposal! Heard chickens at beginning of hike, didn’t see any animals domestic or wildlife, very secluded. She and David took us to the stream area on their rugged four-wheel vehicle while explaining some of the history of their property. Adventure! Wonderful views all around on the drive to the stream, which was only a few minutes away.
When we arrived at the stream, it was such a peaceful, lovely spot of nature!! Just BEAUTIFUL.
Our Bailey was in doggie heaven as she pranced up and down the clear, clean stream and ran around the land around it. We absolutely LOVED IT.
They had a large hammock, Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, and a super cool swing that hung above the stream! My daughter got on and lay down looking up at the sky above saying how nice and relaxed she felt.
When it was time to go (Alma allowed us extra time since we were the last visitors of the day), David picked us up and drove us back to our vehicle while giving us a bit more history of the property and surrounding land.
No words to express our gratitude to Alma and David for their generosity in sharing this secluded piece of paradise with us. We made sure to bring doggie poop bags, water/bowl, balls, and treats and to leave the area as PRISTINE as when we arrived.
We were sent off with a GORGEOUS mason jar of fresh, sweet organic dragonfruit lemonade (from their lemon trees), beautifully adorned with fresh sprigs of mint!!
We will definitely be back as we all needed this day away in nature and freedom for Bailey to just be her awesome canine self.

Are dog water parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. If you are worried about whether you can have an enjoyable water experience, just know that it is possible to have peace of mind when visiting dog waterparks by following basic safety guidelines. We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Additionally, we recommend following our water safety guidelines.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot water park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
