We offer parking on the side of our yard away from the house where you'll have access to 4+ acres of woods within our property, and trail entrances to the public water-shed/game-lands. ******We only open our Sniffspot during non-hunting seasons for safety purposes. ****** Our family has been hiking these same trails for 10+ years, and over 100's of times with our pups. We have been blessed with its wonderous beauty and the pure exhilaration our furry babies get being out there, doing what they love. Lower property offers lake views and animal access from shore (people are not allowed to wade). 5+ acres are mowed, and an additional 2+ acres of trails and foot paths. Quiet and serene location far from roadways or neighbors. Let your dog run leash free or bring your GPS, wireless electric fencing system with you, and relax while your dog roams and discovers. We are animal friendly, but dogs will be inside or gone, and cats will either be inside or find trees while your pet enjoys the space. We do have a pool that is not dog friendly.

Smith River Paw Park in Axton, Virginia is a fully-fenced dog park located at 1000 Irisburg Rd. Dog owners are required to keep their dogs on a leash at all times and to carry a leash with them. I am home most of the time, and usually outside to give walking tips or point out landmarks; also for any problems! My yard is not part of the site!
