The yard is a spacious 0.18 acres with plenty of room for pups to run and play. The pool is dog-friendly and features side steps (which our own dogs use!) and built-in entry steps, plus a relaxing lounge area in the water. Yes, you’re more than welcome to swim with your pup! 🏊‍♀️ For safety, the pool has a max depth of around 5 feet, and we kindly ask that guests notify us after booking if they’re bringing 🚨 children who cannot swim🚨. At night, the pool lights up—you can choose a classic white glow or switch to a color-changing mode just tell us what you prefer after booking. Our patio lights also illuminate the yard for safe and fun nighttime visits. Whether you want to play frisbee, toss a ball, or just kick back, there’s something for everyone. If you’d prefer to stay dry, we have poolside seating as well as shaded spots on the patio. You’re also welcome to bring a speaker and enjoy your favorite music while you hang out. We sit here on an acre and a quarter , plenty of shaded areas! One kiddie pool at the moment, will be getting more! Farm setting, your pets will be getting used to being around chickens and goats, as well as my red healer pup, they will be watched and a close eye kept on them at all times, plenty of room to stretch their legs and run! I live right next to a hiking trail where if requested for another small fee I could take them for a quick 10 to 20 minute or more hike, water will be provided and hikes will only be early morning or later afternoons for summer time.

Or perhaps you just want to “paws” and relax in the shade. If so, then Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for you....and your awesome human, too! Shaggy’s Shack in Tempe has lots of grass for running, chasing balls, and doing the zoomies! It’s fully enclosed with a 5 to 6-foot block wall and more than 25 trees and bushes to explore. You can play fetch with tons of toys and there’s a designated digging spot, too. Or maybe you just want to cool off in a diving pool that’s professionally cleaned every Wednesday–even during Tempe’s cold months. Oh, and Shaggy’s Shack also has features shaded chairs for your human to relax as they watch you explore, play fetch, swim, and have a pawsitively good time. Shaggy’s Shack’s residents (and their humans) will be home but out of sight. The entire lot is just shy of a half-acre, and it’s conveniently located in Tempe. Many dogs live in the area, they may bark in greeting when they hear you. We offer many pawsome amenities at Shaggy’s Shack, including bags and a trash can for your nature calls and a disposable water dish with lots of fresh water (and water for your human, too). Clean towels for drying off after you’ve doggie-paddled in the pool are also provided. Of course, use of the pool is at your and your human’s own risk. The pool is chlorinated and not heated in the winter months. Your human may use the pool to get a closer look at your pawsome doggie paddling technique. While we provide towels for you, we ask that your human brings their own towels. There is no fence or gate around the pool, and we strongly encourage you to bring your own doggie life vest if you do decide to get your paws wet. Discounts are available for multiple dogs. Visit times can be extended if there is availability. Respecting Sniffspot’s 30-minute transition time between visit times is very important. So that no one gets hurt or gets into something that could be dangerous, glass, alcohol and smoking are prohibited. All pups need to be up-to-date on all vaccinations to keep our resident and visiting doggos healthy. Since Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for dogs, please be mindful of your doggie to human ratio; kids are welcome but must be 100% supervised, especially around the ungated, unfenced pool. Our goal is to make your time at Shaggy’s Shack loads of fun for you and your human so you’ll come back again and again.
