55We frequent this sniffspot as it is close to home and well taken care of. SO much space for the doggos to explore. The host is super accommodating and friendly. I always enjoy chatting with her.
The only down side is we have a reactive dog that doesn't care for the farm equipment or trucks that drive by from time to time. In addition, target practice going on in the distance. (This does not happen every time). If your pups are usually fine with these things you'll have a great time. 55Cleo loved Hot Diggity Dog Retreat! We spent the hour exploring the pond and the woods around it. Although beyond the fenced area, it’s secluded and private and well contained. I didn’t worry at all about her.
She loved sniffing through the woods, and found a creek that she especially liked. Perhaps it was the baby deer that she found along it and then chased? (I’ve never heard a deer screech before - luckily, she didn’t get it).
The grassed area around the one side of the pond is lush and green and provided a nice open area for her to run. I’m pretty sure she figured out how to circle the entire pond- even through the wooded areas.
The site is very clean and well kept, and did not disappoint. I only wish it were closer so we could go more often!

10/10 a perfect destination for you and your pups to explore and use there sniffers. Immediately alone entering the fenced in yard both our dogs took off! They had the wind blowing in their hair with huge smiles on their faces. Which in return gave us smiles. We had such a good time this morning. The fenced in area was great for lots of rounds of fetch with both dogs. After we played in the fenced area, I took the dogs to the pond area. One explored safely off-lead while his more impulsive brother took in the sites and smells on-lead. We will definitely be back and hopefully have time to stop at the store afterwards!
