The space was entirely fenced in, and felt very private. The lovely screened-in patio allowed us relief from the sun. The host graciously provided a drinking bowl for the pup, an array of different pool toys, a towel to dry off with, doggy life jackets, and waste bags. They also set up a radio for human enjoyment.
We spent a good amount of time acclimating our pup to the stairs of the pool (she has only ever swam in lakes/the ocean with gradual introduction to water). But by the end of the visit, she was a pro!
We could hear dogs barking from a distance (greater than 50ft) but could not see them, and they did not bother us.
