My backyard is a quiet spot set at the back of a private road. You’ll hear more birds and squirrels than you will cars or traffic. One side of the yard neighbors a mostly empty lot and the other a wooded area with lots of tall pine trees. A water retention ditch and another fence separates the back of the yard from the neighborhood behind mine. In addition to various dog toys and sticks, there is a mound in the middle of the yard for the septic system. My foster dogs love running up and down the little hills! The fire pit can be used on cold days and there are two spots for accessing water - one of which can also be used for a quick bath or rinse before heading home. There are also water misters, located by the sun shade, to help cool down on those extra hot days. Just flip the switch by the nozzle head on the water spout and enjoy! Please help keep the space clean and tidy by picking up all dog poop and disposing in the little, black trash can just outside the fence. 4 acre mini farm. Currently no horses in residence. 3 large fully fenced pastures with large oak trees for your dogs to run and enjoy. Plenty of room to park. Entrance gate requires code to open. Once you make your reservation you will receive the code. Notes on the gate - If it doesn't open fully when you enter the code - typically that means you didn't press the keys firmly or you hesitated too long between pressing the 4 digits. If it doesn't open fully - please count to five before entering the code a second time. Whatever you do, don't start punching the code quickly over and over - that is a sure way to guarantee it will not open correctly. Exiting through the gate: There is a sensor for when you exit - just keep driving at 5 - 7 mph towards the gate and don't pause until you see it start to open. People make the mistake of stopping when they have only partially passed the sensor. If you made it all the way to the gate and it didn't open you were likely hesitating or didn't drive fast enough. In any case back up at least 20 feet (think 5 car lengths) wait 10 seconds for the gate to reset itself before driving towards it again to exit.
