Rent safe and private dog fields hosted by locals in Irrigon, Oregon

This may be a bit long, but the TL;dr is: I drove an hour from Salem to get here and I would (and likely will) 100% so it again. This is a really large area that is fully (and securely) fenced. My border collie Auggie can be a bit of a Houdini when he wants to be, so we walked pretty much the entire fence line and it is super secure, even for smaller dogs. There’s a mix of long and short grass, which was perfect because Auggie could frolic in the longer areas while I didn’t have to wade through it if I didn’t want to. There is a neighbor’s dog on the right side of the property that is visible, but it pretty much ignored us the entire time we were there. Auggie can be dog reactive, but he had no issues because there was so much more to explore. There are also chickens in one area that are fenced off, but visible, but again they weren’t that interesting to Auggie compared to everything else. The property is super easy to find and Linda’s instructions were spot on. We had no issues getting in or leaving, and the drive out there was absolutely beautiful. Linda also provided poop bags and a trash bin right by the front gate, which was super appreciated (I never like having to bring those stinky poop bags back in the car for the drive home). Finally, my only tip would be wearing boots if you go during one of Oregon’s many rainy seasons. There are some areas that are a bit muddy (understandably), but even with the mud, Auggie didn’t actually get that dirty because there were so many other areas to run around and get the mud off. All in all, I can’t rave about this place enough. Truly such an amazing property and I’m so grateful to Linda for opening it up!!

Large open space, well mowed, and provided water. We enjoyed the space especially since it’s so close! Will definitely be visiting again!

This is a great space! It's securely fenced and a more than big enough area for my very excited high energy pup to run and play.

Nice fenced field. Hose and dish for water, poop trash can, and scooper if you forget bags. I liked the fence within fence for dogs that might bark at (very rare) passers by. Pretty private/quiet location. I'll be back!

Great spot for dogs who like to play fetch! Quiet and peaceful and very fun time for the dog!

We had a blast here, my dogs throughly enjoyed running around in this massive field. It’s the middle of fall currently and we left pretty mud free which I found amazing. We’ll definitely stop by again!

Nice big, open field with secure fencing. I liked that there was a hose available to make sure the dog water was clean and fresh. There was plenty of room to park, and it was a very short walk to the field. Didn't hear or see any other animals. My dogs had lots of fun and we will definitely be back.

Field is huge, dog had a fantastic time running around. It was raining pretty hard and there is no shelter so dress accordingly if you come in rain/ hot sun. There’s water for pups, and chairs there.

This is the perfect winter spot, it’s easy to access, the parking is great, and it’s a nice big field so it’s not a muddy mess. Love this place.

Dogs enjoyed a nice, secure romp in the large open field. It’s well maintained with minimal mud for the wet season.

The place was clean and well-prepped with a bowl of water and garden hose, empty trash can, and even a few toys. Great big fenced in pasture with more room than I can throw a frisbee. Thanks for sharing your property with us!

We had a great time! It’s a conveniently located spot, relatively close in to the city for its size. Very clean and well maintained. The fencing was secure and it felt safe for the dogs to roam freely. I’d say the only down side was the incessant barking of the neighbor’s dogs. These two dogs didn’t stop barking the *entire* time we were there. This isn’t the SniffSpot owner’s fault, obviously, but if you have dogs that are reactive to other dogs barking, this could potentially be a problem.

Our dogs loved it! First time at this spot. Close to home. Plenty of room for sniffing and running.
