This is a great place with a large, well-maintained yard and a serene atmosphere. This was my first outing with Max, a 6-year old rescue. I don't think he had been off-leash since he was found wandering the streets in Ithaca. He was so happy and frisky! It was a hot day so he took full advantage of the available water. We relaxed in a shady spot for a bit. We'll definitely be back!

55Absolutely incredible!! My dog was a street dog when he was a puppy in Rochester and he lived his best dreams running around in this yard! It was very easy to find and the yard was super accessible from the driveway! They even wrote our names on the blackboard to greet us ☺️ We will for sure be back!!Maggie H.

55This is a great big yard with many features to provide a “sniffari” experience for my dogs. The length of the yard allowed for long runs all within my eyesight. Parking was directly next to the yard entrance and the gate was easy to use/latch. The owner was responsive and helpful.Maria M.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
