55Really enjoyed this spot. We opted to have the owners' pack play with our dogs, and that was a fantastic choice. Her group of dogs were really well behaved, and even our husky made a friend, he doesn't normal interact with dogs at the dog park. Swimming with our golden retriever and some of the resident pack was super cool as well. Had a blast and will definitely go back, it was a nicer experience than we typically have at the local dog parks, usually because we end up seeing uncontrolled dogs getting into fights. Very big yard in a quiet neighborhood. Not much shade so plan for the hot summer! Host provided water for both dog and person, treats, a doggie pool, pickup bags, hand sanitizer and a first aid kit.
You do need to walk with your dog about 50 yards from where you park to the gate. No problem today but could be if you have a reactive dog.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
