Beautiful Saturday morning at the lake to start our weekend! Had to dodge more geese poop than normal, but that is perhaps more of a temporary seasonal occurrence. We walked up the hill and through one of the cut paths along the trees which is really pretty and filled with warbler birdsong. There is some farm equipment and building materials/tools etc. around the property that aren’t really of interest to my dog Gumbo but another owner might need to keep eyes closer on their pup in that barn/work area. There’s plenty of grass and water to be explored and enjoyed!!! Enjoyed seeing the kingfishers gliding above the lake. And some frogs jumping into the little stream! We hope to be back again soon. Thank you for sharing this lovely oasis!

Unbelievable spot and already planning our next visit! The lake has a dock for the confident jumpers, as well as many areas to slowly wade in. Several nice areas for the humans to sit and relax. We enjoyed circling the lake and heading up to the hill clearing to enjoy the view. Quiet, spacious, clean, total paradise for my retriever! Host was welcoming and communicative and provided ample instructions/photos to help orient us. Thanks so much!
