We no longer have goats. 8 acre pasture completely fenced in with wood fence and field wire. Field is currently completely cut. You are allowed to drive your vehicle in to the field without having to leash your pup! It’s such a large area that waste removal isn’t required unless it happens right in front of you. If that happens, please dispose of over the fence. Shovel provided a entry. Just for your information. This “farmette” is in a neighborhood so there may be other dogs in other peoples yards that you might hear. We also have a family dog that might be visible occasionally in our own private yard, far away and totally separate from the Sniffspot. If your pet is very sensitive and can’t deal with even the site of and or hearing another animal, unfortunately this is not the spot for you. Finally, we are a community of pet lovers and we all pull together and support each other positively . If you have any issues at all, please reach out to me and I will make it right . We have received 1 out of 100 less than stellar review left simply because our family dog was let out in our front yard totally separate from the Sniffspot for five minutes and I just don’t want there to be any other negative experiences. Thank you!🙂

The route to the Farmette is very scenic. It's roughly 35-40min from the MGM/National Harbor, and is 2min from Smallwood State Park and various boat, fishing locations. The street is milled, so PLEASE DRIVE SLOW as you ride to the end of the road. The yard is fully fenced, secured by a farm gate. You will enjoy a pesticide and chemical free yard for the safety of all 🐕. Bug spray and natural flea, tick spray is provided for all visitors. Come and watch your pets run the wide open spaces, splash in the Puddle Park 💦🫧. Seating, plenty of shade can be found on the grounds. There is plenty of space to park inside of the spot and allows for multiple vehicles of any size to park to accommodate large pup parties🙂 . It’s spring already so we’re back to treating the yard with all natural, pesticide-free, pet and human safe WONDERCIDE flea/tick/mosquito protection! We will continue to apply this into the Fall. Additionally, thanks to some great guest feedback, we just added 2 new chairs for seating along the left side of the fence (in the shade). Feel free to move any of the 3 chairs wherever you’d like! Newly fenced yard (done in October 2020) - safe and secure! ALL the dogs say it’s the BEST, and they don’t want to leave. Legitimately. Our girl Luna won’t come in sometimes, and daycare and boarding dogs don’t like leaving. It’s pretty amazing. We are so happy to be able to offer and share our backyard with other dogs!!

Fur-Get Me Not is a leading daycare, boarding, and training facility in the area. We welcome the dog community to exercise and provide mental stimulation utilizing our facility when the dog training school is not actively in use. We work with many rescues and also reactive and fearful dogs. We understand the need to provide a safe play space for these dogs and happy to offer our facility as a stress-free option.
