55Back to my dog's favorite spot. He usually takes the first 5 minutes or so to sniff around. Then plays ball till he is quite exhausted. For all the times we have visited, no other dogs in sight (including the neighborhood). Thanks Heather for having water bowls set out. I think he emptied them today!C. A.

55This is a nice spot to visit. My two dogs had a good time chasing a ball in the grassy area. I am sure spring and summer look a little different here. My dogs are around five years old and they knew to avoid the winter bushes and sticks. Easy to find and best of all - parking was convenient.

55Great spot! There’s a nice long stretch of grass that’s perfect for playing a little fetch with a nice shady spot for a little rest. My explorer dachshund had a great time just sniffing around the perimeter and enjoyed stopping to say hello to the chickens who were on the other side of the fence. Host was really nice when I changed my booking time and made sure to tell me about some gardening tools she didn’t have time to put away due to my switch. Overall, really great experience! FAQ About Meridian Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
