55This place is magical. Lots of hills which is a workout for the humans AND dogs (makes each fetch an uphill run 🤩), but that just lends to its charm and beauty. There are easy trails and steep trails and tiny creeks and chairs and toys sprinkled strategically about the acreage. 55We had an amazing time here with the tall chain link fences to keep us safe! The trail on the other side of the fence gate was super cool too. It felt like a forest trail, yet the surrounding bushes and foliage acted as a fence. I felt it was completely safe enough to let my dogs off leash and roam around (which is rare for my reactive pups).
Super spacious, but also cozy and quiet. The owners do a great job of eliminating any distractions and staying in the house if you request.
My dogs are quite reactive, yet we did not hear a peep out there (well, except the occasional birds chirping). It was a great experience, and we will be returning for sure! :)alyssa s.

There are some quite steep areas especially in the lovely pastoral unfenced areas so be prepared.

FAQ About Mission Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
