55Our GSD had so much fun swimming in the pond! They put their dogs up just like we asked so our pup was able to have a distraction free play. Their emu did come say hi, but they immediately put him into a separate pasture. Claire M.

55This was our first Sniffspot adventure and we will definitely be back. We brought our two dogs, one laid back and one reactive, for a new experience and it paid off! Lots of space for sniffs, swimming, and running! We brought balls and played fetch and swam on the far side of the pond while the farm animals grazed on the other side.
Some of the gated areas contain farm animals (or are open to areas that do) and chickens roam freely near where you’ll park, so just keep that in mind in case your dogs are prone to chasing other animals.
Heather is very responsive and made our experience comprehensive ahead of time so there was no confusion when we arrived. This Sniffspot is a must!Amber M.

And all the land surrounding is wide open, my dog loved playing fetch with no limits out there! The woods in the very back were easy to walk thru and fun to explore as well. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
