55Stopped by on a road trip to stretch and run before another long day in the car and it was the PERFECT spot!!! So so much room to run and my girl LOVES to zoom and roam. There are horses right along the fence line, but my dog doesn’t care about them. If your dog doesn’t like livestock though, I could see it being something to know before you go! The host was incredibly nice showing us around before we went to play and very respectful about reactive dogs interactions. Overall, a great experience for humans and pups to unwind and relax. :) also, watch out for cacti in the grass!!Katie S.

55This is Noels favorite spot!!! We love that it's so close to Rapid City and so peaceful! Noel loves saying hi to the horses and running through the grass! It's safe and good exercise for the humans, been here a few times... Love the privacy and freedom to play while she goes through her cycle! Candice S.

55This is a wonderful big space, just 30 min from the freeway! I felt my dogs were totally secure, and the owner was very helpful and flexible.
My dogs did try to hassle the neighboring livestock, but I was able to call them off eventually. The animals seemed unconcerned.Brenda P.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
