The spot is clean and mowed! It is fairly flat and open, other than a little tree and fire pit! There will be a basket of toys for your little ones. I will provide poop bags, trash, water and a water bowl as well! Spot will be unavailable on most work days due to working schedules and wanting to ensure your sniff time is perfect!

Gus' Garden is a spacious yard with around 3,600 square feet of green grass and flowers. Feel free to use the seating provided as your pup sniffs and plays. Plenty of shade and sun for your pup to run! Just make sure you dispose of any waste your pet may produce and close the gate all the way when you leave!

Dog Park Rules 1. All users must purchase the required Dog Field Permit and must wear proper Dog Field identification; ID must be visible at all times in the Dog Field. 2. The Off-Leash Dog Field is for dogs, their handlers, and those accompanying them. 3. Owners are legally responsible for their dog(s) and any injury caused by them. If your dog becomes unruly or aggressive, leash immediately and leave the field. In case of incident, owners are required to provide personal information to involved parties and submit a completed incident report. 4. Dogs must be licensed and vaccinated, and wearing a collar with current tags. 5. Dogs under the age of four months are not permitted. 6. Female dogs in season are not permitted. 7. Dog owners must keep their dog(s) in view at all times. 8. There is a limit of 3 dogs per owner at any given time. 9. Clean up and dispose of feces left by your dog per section 511.23.15b of the Ohio Revised Code. 10. Owners must carry a leash at all times. All dogs must be leashed in all other areas of the Anderson Park District. 11. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 12. Please maintain the safety of the transfer gate system. Do not enter if another dog is within the transfer area. 13. A current Dog Field Permit is required to access the Dog Field. Permit holders are not permitted to allow people and dogs without a permit access to the Dog Field. 14. Food and dog treats are not permitted inside the Dog Field. 15. Unattended dogs will be removed by the SPCA. 16. PROPER HUMAN BEHAVIOR IS REQUIRED. Physical violence and/or verbally abusive behavior will not be tolerated. Behavior deemed to be aggressive, intimidating, or having the objective of inciting violence and/or promoting or escalating potential situations will be subject to immediate ejection from the premises and permit revocation. 17. Failure to fulfill permit requirements and follow Dog Field rules, subjects a violator to criminal prosecution, and/or being banned from the Field. DOG PARK RULES - Use park at your own risk - Owners are legally responsible for the behavior of their dog(s) - Leash dog(s) upon entering/exiting the park - Clean up after your dog IMMEDIATELY - Owners must remain within the dog park - Supervise your dog(s) with leash readily available - Dog licenses are required by Campbell County - Dog handlers must be at least 16 years of age - Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult & supervised at all times - Aggressive dogs must be removed immediately - Dogs should be under voice control PROHIBITED - SMOKING - HUMAN FOOD - DOG FOOD/TREATS - GLASS CONTAINERS - DOGS IN HEAT - SICK DOGS - INFANTS/TODDLERS - DOGS UNDER 4 MONTHS - VICIOUS/DANGEROUS DOGS (PER CITY OF NEWPORT VICIOUS ANIMAL ORDINANCE) The Newport Dog Park is a community development initiative created in cooperation with the City of Newport, East Row Historic Foundation and local residents and businesses. Our dog park operates 100% on donations and fundraising.

Dog Park Rules These rules are in addition to posted park rules. Entry to Dog Park is at the risk of handlers. • A leash is not required in the Dog Park, but dogs must be leashed while entering and exiting Dog Park. • All off-leash dogs must be under complete control of handler and leash must be in hand at all times. If you cannot control your dog, keep your pet leashed at all times for the safety of others. • Handlers must be in Dog Park and within view of their dogs. • Aggressive dogs are not permitted and must be removed at first sign of aggression. • Handlers must clean up after their dogs and seal waste in a bag before disposing in trash receptacle. • Children under the age of 13 are not permitted in the Dog Park unless accompanied by an adult. • Female dogs in heat are prohibited. • Dog licenses are required per Ohio Revised Code Chapter 955. Dogs must have an owner identification tag or embedded chip at all times. • Dogs must be current with all shots as recommended by the handler's veterinarian. • No smoking or tobacco products permitted. Individuals who fail to comply with Dog Park rules may be asked to leave or be ticketed by the police.
Dog Park Rules Entry to dog park is at your own risk. • Keep dogs leashed until inside the fence. Dogs entering must be on 6-ft maximum leash. • Watch your dog. Dogs must be under voice command of an adult at all times. • Be considerate of others. Clean up after yourself and your pet. • Stick with your size. Small dog area is for dogs weighing less than 22 pounds. • Fill all holes. Replace dirt dug up by your dog. • No food or chew treats. Dog and people food can cause dogs to act unexpectedly. • No female dogs in heat. Watch un-neutered males closely for bad behavior. • No aggressive dogs. Remove dog at first sign of aggression.
