Rent safe and private dog fields hosted by locals in West Kelowna, British Columbia

Grace was a super friendly host and the property was very cool! I appreciate how much variety there is to the land - benches, small hiking trails, meadows & creeks/ponds. My pup had a blast and so did I :-) A dog’s paradise and a place for people to relax. 🙂 I would go back. 

As always our trip was fantastic. My dog absolutely lives running around here and splashing around in the small creek . We will continue coming back !

Our dog has never been happier. She sniffed and ran and played ball and then explored some more. There was a wonderful creek, trails through the woods, benches to sit on and soak in the peaceful surroundings. We booked the spot for two hours and were so glad we did. Our host was gracious and welcoming.

This place was amazing! The property is gorgeous. It’s a great place to train a new dog offleash because there’s a lot of distracting smells. My dog was extremely interested in the goats (they are safely in their own enclosure) so we had some trouble staying focused but it’s great practice! Thank you Gracie.

Grace was the nicest most welcoming host. She pointed us in the right direction and left us to enjoy the time.  The land is beautiful. A nice hill to get a little workout and lots of open spaces to run when you get up top. Plenty of benches and tables to rest and enjoy the peace. There were goats and a horse safely away in their shelter and easily avoided as they are before the start of the area you will be using. They are adorable and so patient as Niko saw them and barked. Didn’t see or hear any people or other animals at all-  There’s we a super pretty water area when you first start the trail that is perfect for a little splashing around.  Basically- it’s like your own private hike in the woods for a few great hours. Thank you Grace! 

What a fabulous Sniffspot!!! Doogie, Thomas and I had such a great time here! It's a wonderful forest with old growth stumps that new trees have grown out of, a nice creek and numerous trails to wander. It is nicely maintained. My boys got to meet their first goats and a horse (they are in an adjoining pasture) and thought that was pretty cool. The goats came right up to the fence to say hi. Doogie is a new rescue (in our family for 2 months), so I can't let him hike in open spaces off-leash yet, and I am keeping him on his longline for a few more outings, but this wonderful, forested place with numerous trail options gives me the chance to safely test out how he's doing and give him freedom. He is doing so good, that hopefully he can be off the longline on our next visit. Grace, the owner, is very nice! There was a welcome sign and poop bags for us to use. Since it was our first time, she welcomed us, pointed out where to go and checked in with us as we were leaving to make sure we had a good time. I only wish we lived closer, but if we were headed to the mountains for a hike, we would have had to drive further, so that's ok. We will definitely be back!!

Great experience! Grace is as nice as can be. The property is well cared for and provided a lot of opportunity for our dogs to run and get worn out. Be prepared to hike up some steep inclines in order to utilize the entire property (this ended up being a great walk for us as well!). Will definitely be going back! Oh, and though we don't think this will be the case at all times, our pups did need a bath after their visit (in the best way possible). :)

This place is heaven! Rogue had so much fun on his birthday adventure. Running, sniffing, playing ball and swimming. He is worn out! It’s an hour drive from West Seattle. Book for two hours and bring a lunch. So worth it. 

This is arguably the best Sniffspot we’ve been to yet! Beautiful property with well maintained trails that loop around and let you feel like you could get lost but with the safety of knowing you won’t. Property line is very visible via fencing and we loved switching between swimming in the creek to running through tall grass to exploring through the overgrowth. Grace was an amazing host, we will definitely be back! 

We had a great time in the mini forest. Our two dogs loved running around and even went in the water. Tons of space and was some good exercise for the dogs and us! Lots of benches and tables so we might bring a picnic next time. Grace was very nice and welcomed us as soon as we drive up. There was even a welcome sign for us! Looking forward to coming back. We loved this sniff spot! Lots of trails to go on, and the dogs loved the creek to cool off and chase frogs. One of our dogs is pretty reactive but we had no issues, as the area is secure and private. Grace came out to meet us and was welcoming and helped guide us to where to go. It’s a beautiful piece of property and was very relaxing. Some areas are more wooded and there are some open grassy fields too. 

Grace was so friendly and kind! Her property was so fun to explore. Our pup loved running through all the forested areas - though he might have been a little too interested in the goats & horse in the enclosure before the forested area. Overall, great spot & would return!

This was the best time!! Grace was so kind and accommodating for our family to meet up - 5 dogs total. Absolutely beautiful, peaceful property and our dogs didn’t stop running/exploring. They loved playing in the water too! We humans got a little workout climbing up the hillside and through the forest. Great to take a break at the campsite seating while the dogs explored around us. Definitely recommend and we’ll be back for sure! 

This was our first Sniffspot that we visited and we were amazed how beautiful it was. It was nice to let our dogs off leash and explore without worry. The scenery was so nice and peaceful and very clean. Our dogs were in heave, they couldnt believe it either :) To top it off the creek was a hit! I cant like this spot enough. We are looking forward to coming back. Thank you Grace for sharing this gem with us we really appreciate it. See you soon, Rachel 

We absolutely love everything about this spot! The space to play, hikes, and absolute peaceful scenery. We came when this spot first opened and it was great then. Grace has definitely added some awesome improvements as well to the area. Firstly, the sniffspot sign made it easy to find her place. Secondly, the parking area was clearly marked! We came on a muddier day earlier this summer and we’re able to enjoy the space fully though the two hours seemed to go by slowly, this time they passed so quickly! Thirdly, she added some benches which made it so nice to have a seat. My only thing would be remember to bring some bug spray as the mosquitoes were showing themselves this time!

This is one of our new favorite spots. There are so many beautiful trails, a creek, and smells the dogs were busy the entire hour and we wish we had more time to enjoy the peaceful forest. Great hills for fetch to wear them out and then they cooled off wading through the creek. Happy tongues out the whole time. We will be coming back. The area is well fenced. We felt completely safe and secure, but it’s a forest so good recall is nice. There are goats and a horse, but they are enclosed and aren’t visible from the area at the creek where you can unleash.
