You may hear the neighbors shepherd from time to time but it wasn't even enough for my dog reactive pup to care or fixate on. 55Maddie had a great time running around in the snow. 6ft fence was really secure for my little jumper. There was a barking husky/shepard on the other side of the fence for maybe 5 min, but when I redirected Maddie to another part of the yard, the husky seemed to lose interest in barking :) Great yard. It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks.
