We have a fire pit with seating in one of the grass acres. There are no longer Alpacas and goats here as they’ve moved to the farm down the road. But you will come across Canadian Geese and Wild Turkeys, and sometimes Deer. As you drive by the red barn to the parking area you will sometimes see our dog friendly dog Butch in his gated area most likely sleeping! 😄 Once you reach your parking it is private and you are alone.

The Pipeline. 6 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park with over 1km of trails

Welcome to "The Pipeline," a field, bush, and forested area with a stream, pond, and trails that dogs are going to love exploring. No neighbours in any direction to hassle you while making all the noise you want. Grass may be tall or short when you arrive, as it is a hay field, with a trail cut around the perimeter, through the middle, and into the forest to get to the pond. Guests are able to explore the whole property, but please stay in the forest and field areas. We have marked the trails with orange tape so that you can follow or just freestyle it and go wherever the nose leads. We realize sometimes dogs get excited and will venture out of those areas, so dont sweat it. As long as they are having fun, just call them back and continue on your way. We do suggest bringing some bug spray/mosquito repellent. There may be some burrs in the bushes,you have to watch for that. I have recently purchased a trail camera to watch for wildlife around the property, so you may once in a while see that put up in various areas.

However, the fencing is a mix of 50% horse board-style fencing with 50% cattle panel type fencing along the roads at the front and along both sides of the property. Horse farms are on either side of the property and the horses to the south will come up to the fence and are very curious. The back of the property is open forest with board fencing as well. Lots of room for you and your dog(s) to run and play. Approximately 20 acres of open fields. No muddy areas and fields are well drained and dry. As an added bonus… The property goes all the way back to the tree line and the hill… They didn’t have an amenity for a toboggan hill, but if you’re bringing kids or feel like a kid, that’s available of course. 😇😇

On our 26-acre hobby farm, we have a 6-acre fenced farm field/dog park. It is a large place! Enjoy seeing natural landscapes, trees, and privacy along the way. Have fun, play catch, train and let your animal have unleashed freedom! We have uploaded a printable "safety map" for each season, which contains a legend for your use and the status of the park. Please note that the fire pit is not available during the winter season. PARKING AND DIRECTIONS TO SNIFFSPOT: 1. Ride up and park in the guest parking. You will see a white sign with green letters “Guest Parking” nailed to the hydro pole above the yellow and black slow sign. 2. Typically, there is a red jeep parked in one of the three parking spaces. You can also park on the grass if it's not too wet. 3. When you exit the vehicle, please leash and walk your dog until you reach the SniffSpot. 4. Walk towards the white barn, and about 1/3 of the way, hang a right and head towards the Highway. Follow the tree line through the field. Do not go to the left/west side, if past the chicken fencing by gate #1, that is the wrong way. Turnaround. 5. Avoid going through the forest; the larger pond will block you, and the woods are thick. 6. The path through the field will curve a bit and take a hard right, and you will see an opening with a gate. That is the SniffSpot. *2025 UPDATE – October 20, 2025* 2024 was a wonderful year! It was our first year in business and because of you, we were the top spot in the local area! 2025 is almost behind us. Since opening, we have had 255 happy dogs with a rating of +4.7 out of 5! Our Corgi loved walking after your visits because of all the new dog smells. We have reviewed all of your comments and feedback. One of the recent milestones is that we have levelled the field, and the space is very open and clean. Here are some additions and projects we will em”bark” between now and 2026 to improve your experience and the Sniffspot: 1. Fence gap at the Pond: Our neighbour has permitted us to install a fence segment on their property to close the fence gap at the pond. Once installed, we can declare a 100% fenced-in spot before the 2026 2. Entrance signage: We will be adding a main sign at the parking space, which includes a printout of the Sniffspot map, extra doggy bags, and garbage with a mini roof/shelter. 3. Directional signage: We will be adding posts with signs and directions that will be installed throughout the property in the summer of 2026. If you have any questions, please let me know. The farm fence consists of professionally installed 2” by 4” squares of wire mesh (commonly used for smaller livestock such as sheep, donkeys, cows, etc) and cedar posts. If you look at the photo, you can see the locations of the gate on the main photo or on the “safety map” (see photos and captions). We have more fencing on other parts of the property outside of our dog park in case your dog does not have a good recall.
