We started off walking some of the mowed trails and then went back to his favorite part-the pond! By the time we left I was able to just sit and watch him explore and run around. While we didn’t get in the pond this time (as I forgot towels), it has easy access and if you don’t want to swim with your pup, the pond is off the one side of the property and very avoidable if desired, so you don’t have to worry about your pup taking an unwarranted swim! The land is relatively flat and easily walkable. I’ve had multiple knee surgeries and the terrain was not straining to me. The walking paths are great, the areas that are not mowed are not very tall so you can walk through if desired! Claire H.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
