The dog park at Starwind Farm is located on a working horse farm and offers three options. There is an 80 by 180 foot indoor riding arena that is completely enclosed with doors on both ends and lights. It is ideal for small group play, off leash, work, and general burning of energy year round. With the unprecedented temperatures and ice, it's an excellent place to play or work with your dog(s) There is a beautiful walk next to the river with a path that winds around the horse paddocks. Safe for your pup and you to get out of the car. You can park anywhere. If you feel comfortable you can drive down to the lower field to get even further away from the road. I live down the street while I am fixing up the old house. So, there maybe someone at work in the house. Once you park, the best walking is down to the creek. Go to the lower field and look for the opening in the woods. 150yards from field is the creek. On a hot day, wear good creek shoes and walk up and down creek. If you cross the creek there is a great trail that circles around to the Powerline. Warnings: 1. there are lots of deer! 2. There are old barns. Do Not enter any of the buildings! They are very dangerous!!!! I have rescued reactive dogs. I want to create a safe space for your dogs and you to enjoy this great property.
