Timber Paws is a dog day camp service operating in and around the Bellingham, WA area. During non-operating hours our private and fully fenced-in dog park area is available for rent via Sniffspot. Take advantage of nearly 2 acres of natural, wooded terrain with plenty of space to run, chase, and fetch. The Pacific Northwest Trail, a through-hike trail hundreds of miles long, runs directly through our property via the gravel road and allows you to go on hikes of virtually unlimited duration. Please note that the standing propane heater is NOT for Sniffspot users. Please also keep out of the tiny house - guests are NOT permitted to enter. Any usage or tampering with the heater or tiny house will result in a loss of future booking privileges. PLEASE do not allow your dog to play with the toys and tennis balls if they are known to destroy them. These are intended for the day camp dogs and I can't keep constantly replacing them out of pocket. The garbage can is to throw away poop only. Please also bring your own water. Please replace any toys that are destroyed by your dog.

Great spot for throwing the ball with the chuck-it, digging box (please don't let them take ALL the sand out) and a climbing apparatus for the dogs away from the fence line. Only vaccinated dogs use this space. Park and go straight to the front fenced yard for your time period. We ask that you do not walk your dog around the property or bring them into the shelter - only to and from the yard. There is a no "nose-to-nose" rule at the facility and no dog is too be off leash on the grounds unless contained in the fenced yard. Public washroom available while your dog is contained in your vehicle, inside the shelter between 9am and 5:30pm.

Instructions from the host were very clear. Area was well maintained and clean. Lots of seating options for humans in the shade. Water and toys are provided for dogs. There were also instructions on how to get your dog to successfully complete each part of the agility course. Overall, a great experience and we’ll definitely be going back

Marshall had a wonderful time with the obstacles and the fencing was adequate. There are a few horses which spooked him at first but they are off in the distance so he was able to ignore them after that.

What a fantastic clean and welcoming Sniffspot! The agility and obstacle course items all had instructions to guide you through it, there was also a lot of open space to play fetch, and a nice little area to sit for the humans. Loved everything about it, except I had no idea my dog would be that reactive to the horses in the neighboring yard haha. Definitely not the hosts issue, but my dog has never seen horses before and she is VERY reactive to sounds and “strange objects”. The host even had most of the fence visually blocked off from the horses but my dog found every viewable area haha. I would love to come back during a time when the horses aren’t out!

We enjoyed our visit, enjoyed testing out some obstacles & appreciated the quick response about the pool as it wasn’t full when we got there. I think the space available for the Sniffspot is smaller than 0.5 acres, probably closer to 0.15. You can hear the street noise from the spot and see horses on the south fence line as well as the west fence line. We didn’t have issues with the street noise or horses in sight & look forward to visiting again.
