I live about half an hour away and before we even got there I was impressed with the drive and how beautiful the scenery is. The Google Direction tour spot on and it was very easy to tell where to park and which gate to use upon pulling up. My girls had plenty of toys to play with that come with the yard. Had a wonderful seating area for humans. The parking is perfect and just to hop away from the fence entry. Plenty of room to run and rip and My Girls loved exploring to the corners of the fence. No gaps or holes in this one. I was at ease the whole time they played. The Host was very responsive to a couple of questions I had and very very friendly. My girl slipped all the way home. Thank you Kelly for a wonderful spot. We will be booking again for sure.

We really enjoyed a place to let our lab run leash-free AND play in the water! Super easy to book and find and was a fun trip for us all (2 dogs & daughter). I know we weren’t even able to explore 1/4 of the property, and the river had recently been very high, so quite a bit of debris. In all, we loved it and will be back to explore some more!

This place was INCREDIBLE! We could not have asked for more! Host was available, responsive, and gracious. The property was absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful river, some bald eagle sightings, lawn chairs for relaxing on the beach, plenty of space for the dogs to run. Truly a little slice of heaven! We drove an hour to get there and it was more than worth it. We are already planning our return!

The property is a dog paradise! Our pup ran, played in the river, and dug holes in the sand. Melanie was also helpful in directing us where to go, and our dog Ruby liked her so much she tried to follow her home. Sorry Ruby you're stuck with us! Highly recommended, I hope we can go back soon!

A little slice of doggie paradise! The property is extremely well-maintained and the river is perfect for swimming. This place is amazing! We drove out from Asheville and it was so worth the drive. There’s a beautiful beach area with calm water for the pups to swim and sand for them to run and dig. The host brought out a little welcome basket with dog treats, water, poop bags, sun screen, bug spray and a towel. We will definitely be returning our dogs had a blast.

This was our first time using Sniffspot and it was such a great experience. Melanie was great to communicate with and gave us detailed directions to the site. The field and river access were even better than described. Our 3 dogs had a blast playing in the river and there was a nice beachy area for us to hang out on. We had fun exploring the treed area too. All around just the best spot for a perfect dog afternoon. Can’t wait to go back!

Our second timing visiting this awesome spot on the river. Such a great place for the dogs to swim and run! Our 3 love the mix of open grassy area, trees, and, of course, the river. The river access here is excellent for dogs. It offers shallower areas for wading and deeper spots for swimming. Melanie was easy to communicate with and even came out to meet us when we first arrived - she was super welcoming and gave us a great overview of the space. Highly recommend this Sniffspot!

We love this spot along the river! It’s our fourth visit here and everyone enjoyed the afternoon, as always. Melanie has thought of a lot of special touches for the dogs and their people - there was even a freshly cleaned hammock for us to relax in while the dogs explored! The river access has something for each of our dogs - the perfect swimming areas for our young lab, a lovely shallow entry beach area for our older lab to wade, and lots of river bank and woods for our oldest dog to explore. Can’t wait to visit again!
