The bigger part of the backyard was awesome for my 2 labradors. Lots of running, fetching balls and sniffing but I had to watch them to make sure they didn't run off into the field next door because that part is not fenced. The smaller part of the backyard where the pool is, is all fenced and so is the pool which is great. My dogs loved playing and splashing in the inground pool. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
