55This is the most perfect location for my two aussies to get out all their energy and run around in a safe but open place. There is plenty of shade and the little stream is perfect for them to cool off. I recommend bringing some bug spray, chair or blanket to sit on. The property is very easy to find. I cannot believe this is smack in the middle of a neighborhood. They truly have a beautiful yard and I am so thankful that they are on sniffspot!
Also, if you’re worried about the greenway being right there, that part is fenced in from their yard. The only open part was their actual house, if you walk far enough away towards the open field you’re pretty much closed in.
The host was also very responsive and helpful when I booked. I can’t wait to bring my boys back to play! Thank you again!Kayla S.

55This was a great place for my black lab to explore. It's very much a "farm" environment. There's low grass, brush, bugs, streams, blackberry bushes, and all sorts of areas for a dog to sniff and have fun. Bring a hat and bug spray, as there's definitely ticks and other bugs. Also, do take note that while there is fencing between the greenway and the property, the tree line and front yard are not fenced. So if there's any trouble with recall, it's worth trying things out on a long lead first. My dog made a bee line to the river, and it took some coaxing to get him back through the trees. But overall a really great spot.Nick L.

55Absolutely loved our visit! This property backs up to Mill Creek Greenway and to be honest, we have admired those seven acres for years while walking by.
Parking is easy on-street near the neighborhood entrance to the Greenway. You'll see a dog house with an official "Sniffspot" sign on the right. Go around the house in that direction and it will take you to the spacious back yard and further out, more open field area.
There is plenty of shaded areas and a small feeder stream that connects to the larger Mill Creek. Most of the property is fenced - but is open to Mill Creek and the Greenway on one side. However, there is enough acreage to explore that you can easily keep your pup away from the creek if you'd like. Alternately, you could put on a long line and let your dog splash in the water.
Like every good field, there are patches of mud puddles after some rain - but that's what dogs love.
Be aware that there is wildlife in the area. Keep an eye open for deer, coyote and other mammals in the fields and creek nearby.
Make sure and bring water and a dish for your dog, sunscreen and toys. A blanket to sit under the trees would be perfect.
My dog is "dog selective" in that she likes most dogs she meets but is not tolerant of other dogs who are pushy or in her face. That's why having a space she can enjoy off-leash that is calm and safe is so important.Cathy B.
