55Another great visit! Lush greenery all around and the pups even got to chase a squirrel (their dream come true). Did hear some kids and dogs from neighboring yards, but not the entire time. Perhaps it’s because we were visiting in the late Friday afternoon. Regardless of what time of the day you visit, you can find a shade under one of the trees, which is lovely (I bring a picnic blanket). Alana K.

55Great spot in a quiet neighborhood. Just as advertised, plenty of places to romp and sniff. This was the first spot we tried and it left our pooch blissful and tired from all the excitement. (Too excited while we were there to take a photo but figured a sleepy pup pic would be nice) Leslie G.

55It’s a big yard for dogs to run around. And there are lots of interesting things to explore and smell for them. It was secure enough for our pups, and they didn’t react to the neighbor’s barking dog.David K.

55This spot is great and has lots of different terrain for dogs to sniff. Smokey had fun exploring it all. I was a bit worried about the gap in the fence because I realized my dog could jump right over if there was something in the other yard that he was reacting to, and of course he was interested in that spot. If your dog isn’t reactive, I doubt there’s much reason to worry about that. Samantha M.

55We had a blast! The dogs loved sniffing through all the ivy (not poisonous) and zooming through the hills. The yard is also much much larger in person than the photos depict. There is some gapping in the fence in one corner, which was an initial worry pre booking. Our dogs would definitely find a new family if they were to escape. However, the gapping wasn’t large enough to be an issue at all. We will definitely be returning! Chloe P.

55A great visit as always. Dan’s lawn is so well kept and so interesting for the pups. Lots to keep them occupied between chase plays. With the weather improving, you may hear neighbors’ children playing (we were there on a Saturday and it was not too loud or disruptive to our visit, just a pleasant weekend afternoon ambiance) so if your dog is reactive to children’s sounds (the dogs will not be able to see them, so just sounds) you may want to consider that. Thanks Dan! Alana K.

55This yard is like your own private park with lots of places to sit and stuff for pups to sniff. In summer it looks like there will be shady areas. My 2 old lame dogs won’t walk on leash for more than 5 minutes but this held their interest for almost an hour. Definitely recommend!Sarah H.

55This yard is huge!! And clean and beautiful. We had a blast playing fetch and there were toys and a hose and a water bowl. Our host was so helpful and responsive. Will definitely be back!
The neighbor on one side has a large dog that was barking at us from behind the tall opaque fence but he mostly gave up after the first 5 minutes (my dog generally doesn’t mind what she can’t see).Rosa Z.

FAQ about our Cherry Hill dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Cherry Hill area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 421 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 55 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
