The agility equipment and photo ops are such a fun bonus, and Willie Nelson especially loves the pools. I was extra grateful today to find some special birthday surprises left out for Willie Nelson—it made the visit even more memorable. They had pails of water scattered about, so there was always somewhere to stop and get a drink. The whole setup was beautiful and well maintained. There is a stick library for the pups and a little library for the people. And the hosts had fresh baked cookies for the pups and the people, and cold lemonade. 55I cant say enough about this dog park, it was perfect! I brought my two mini aussies and they both had so much fun running through the back trails as well as enjoying the shaded pine area. There were dog pools, a giant sandbox and plent of toys and pick up bags thoughtfully placed around the property. It was completely private and barely had any traffic on the road. There was even a little cooler with cold water and freshly baked banana bars which were delicious! It was well worth the drive from Oshkosh, we will be back!Dana E.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
