Rockshires 2 acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Janesville

We have a large fenced in area and also have a 1 acre field available but is not fenced. We have agility equipment including weaves, jumps, teeters and dog walks, and obedience jumps including broad jump. We also have benches and chairs, treats and toys!! We have pooper scoopers and a trash can. We have a small pool and a larger pool for kids and dogs!!The hose is available if you want it, including dog shampoo and towels. We will have water available if needed but bring your own bowl. We have a long driveway and plenty of parking. Please drive up the driveway and into the parking lot by the gate to enter. We have plenty of sun but also large shade trees! Kids welcome!!

My Sniffspot is just south of I-94 and across from Lower Nemahbin Lake access. You will see a foster care sign at the end of the driveway. The address is 1635 North Sawyer Road. It is well-marked. We do have beehives (located near the barn), fenced ducks & chickens (not visible from the field), and barn cats that wander the area. One rooster free ranges but he and none of the other animals will approach you or your dogs. You may also see deer or wild turkeys. Because we want all of these animals, including your dogs to be safe, please keep dogs on leash when outside the field and be in control of them at all times. The private dog park has 3 agility jumps, 1 short tunnel, and miniature weave poles. Feel free to adjust any of the jumps to fit your dog(s)' jump height. You can also create your own agility course! The park provides a cot, three chairs, some toys, and 2 throwing sticks. The Toys are located on top of a purple bin and there are more toys inside of the bin you can take out! A hose/sprinkler is provided in the summer! More agility equipment will be added in the spring/summer. There is plenty of space to let your furry friend run free! Please note: I am a high school student and my parents are letting me maintain the Sniffspot to earn money. Therefore, I may not be able to respond to messages right away if I am in class, but I will try my best!

99% of the backyard fencing is 5-6’ tall. The gate you will enter and exit through is the only area that is 4’ tall. TONS of mature trees providing plenty of shade and a thicker tree line in the very back where your pup can sniff and explore! Lots of open lawn area to play and/or train. I will stay inside unless you would rather I come out and meet you and your pup. We have water bowls filled and a hose right there if you need more water. Patio has multiple patio tables and chairs if you want to chill while your pup plays. I have water, kool aid, maybe Gatorade available, just ask! I only require about 15 minutes heads up so I can make sure my dogs are put up and inside so you can enjoy the backyard alone with your dog. If your dog needs another dog friend to play with we do have several here who are extremely dog friendly and love to play ranging in size from a rat terrier up to a super sweet and friendly Doberman. But they have no problem staying inside too. We aim to please so just let me know what you may need!

Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) after work and weekends tend to have more shooting noise during hunting seasons. * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Newly installed fully fenced in area approximately 2600 ft. Does have a small Hill in one spot. We do treat the lawn with a dog friendly pesticide company because there are so many mosquitoes here. So basically our backyard doesn't have many mosquitoes at all. There is access to water and we have a splash pad available. It's a nice area to come and let your dogs just run and play. There are some spots in the fence that are not all the way to the ground so if you have a very little dog it may not be ideal. There are toys in the toybox. We have one designated parking spot that's off the road at the end of the driveway.

PALS Park Lower, is a space we have curated strictly for dogs. This park is the little brother of PALS Park, now PALS Park Upper. This space is more rustic and a bit more simple than PALS Park Upper. There are 2, 5 gallon water jugs available with dog bowls. A deck box with an assortment of toys. A pooper scooper, along with a poop bag dispenser and trash can. There is a blue bag filled with agility equipment that may be used, but please put back when finished. People and Dog bug spray, natural and traditional varieties are available. This park is also named after our dogs. Penelope (20 lb., (F) Boston Terrier), Arthur, and Lewis (55-70 lb., (M) Cattle Dog mixes and biological brothers). Arthur and Lewis “do not play well with others” (they're herding dogs and tend to herd other dogs). Penelope is smaller and getting older, so she gets bullied at dog parks. Needless to say our number one goal is the safety and wellbeing of our kids, and now yours.

PALS park Upper, is a space we have curated for our three dogs, Penelope (20 lb., (F) Boston Terrier), Arthur, and Lewis (55-70 lb., (M) Cattle Dog mixes and biological brothers). Arthur and Lewis “do not play well with others” (they're herding dogs and tend to herd other dogs). Penelope is smaller and getting older, so she gets bullied at dog parks. We needed an open space with fencing, a relatively quiet area, yet far enough away from residential areas because our dogs bark a bit more than average and we don't want to be a bother to our neighbors. We realized this is the need for many dogs and dog parents (like us), and those dogs are not always afforded the ability to go to a dog park and be off leash, and be in a stress-free environment. That’s why we offer our space, a place we have made exclusively to let our dogs and YOURS be the very best version of themselves. Dogs deserve to be dogs, and that’s our aim at PALS Park. **At the park we do our very best to offer a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience. We are always looking for ways to improve the park, for you and your dogs. With constructive, positive, and a 5 star review, we will be better equipped to meet your needs. He is indoors 75% of the time and makes himself VERY scarce when new people/cars are around. *There is ample parking and the driveway will be cleared of snow in the winter months. If there is a massive snowfall we will do our best to make a path. *There is a horse shelter in the park (we are slowly turning into the guest space). That’s where you will find several pooper scoopers with a bucket for poops without poop bags, a poop bag station, and a few mobile poop bag holders. There is a trash can for bagged poo and trash. We have set out some people chairs and an elevated dog bed. There are always refreshed buckets of water around the park. Who can forget the toys? We have two deck boxes full of toys. A larger one near the house as well as a smaller one at the shelter. There is also a tennis ball hopper at the shelter. Toys can be put back in either box, and please try your best to return them before you leave. **PROPER POOP DISPOSAL PROCEDURE** #2 can be: -pitched over the fence (bagless) -put into the trash can (if bagged) Karmic Poop Pick Up - we have a ton of space to play, so the odds of missing a poo now and then are high, we totally get it. See a poop? Pick it up (with a provided poop bag) and all day long you'll have good luck! We have a 700 gallon stock tank pool (not open November - May) just for the dogs. This will be available for an extra charge of $5 per dog. We will provide some towels for pool use and for general wet weather, because we know a wet dog in a car is not fun. Please drape the used/wet towels over the large grey gate at entrance before you leave. For human safety, please try to stay off the patio/porch near the home as it’s slippery when wet. Those areas will marked with a yellow plastic chain or closed off with black gates. If the dogs make it up there it isn’t a big deal, just be careful retrieving them.
