This property is a fully operational chestnut farm that doubles as a dog park in the off season. The property includes a fully enclosed 7 acre lot as well as some wooded area with a creek outside of the fenced-in area that you're welcome to explore as well!

The Woodland Bluffs: 30 acres off Big River

The Woodland Bluffs. 30 acres private land off big river. Start you and your furry friends journey down the trail where you can see different shelves off the bluff. Don’t worry the trail is rocky but wide enough for a tractor. As you come to the bottom of the trail it flattens out with beautiful trees that stretch all the way to the river banks. The river changes this area frequently as it usually floods with heavy rains, so your second trip could be a whole new adventure. The bluff blocks the area at the bottom so it’s just you, your furry friend, trees and a river. Small cave is somewhere on the property. Grass is not maintained. Sometimes it will be long and sometimes not. Some Fourwheeler trails are found throughout the bottom flat area. Lots of large rocks and downed trees make this a great training area. The river may be up or down. The lower flat area does not typically flood unless there is flash flooding. During flash floods we will block availability and will make every attempt to notify scheduled guests. Once you head down the trail the house and road will not be visible. Across the river the banks are fairly high, they do have cows on the opposite side of the river. You may hear or see them from time to time. The hike down is rocky and the hike back up is fairly steep, but the views are worth it and change with every season. Hope to see your adventure pictures soon. Thanks for visiting.

Please make sure your pup is trained for proper recall and staying in the vicinity of you as my property is partially fenced with several areas in the wooded section being barbwired. There is a huge hammock available for people to use at their own risk and I do have a firepit that can be used as long as I am contacted first and you bring your own supplies.

If you go deep enough there’s a small creek! The property backs up to a conservation area! You are welcome to not venture into the woods and stay on our grassy and paved areas by the pool (open in summer only and dog friendly), and the front / back yard.
