This spot was developed as a starting pen for beagles. Brush piles, food plots, and secure cover were established for rabbits. Elevated observation decks (use at your own risk) were built for dog owners to observe their dog working a running rabbit. This spot is designed for beagle use but is multi use for all breeds of dogs. This spot is located in the "country" with easy parking and access. There are very few distractions which allows you the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful experience on mowed trails with plenty of area to investigate, and plenty of scents to stimulate your dogs sniffer.

We have 80 acres in the mid-Michigan area. Our front 40 is partially fenced grass pasture for livestock. The back 40 is wooded and hosts almost 1 mile in walking paths with direct walking access to hundreds of acres of state land. Owners and pets will enjoy a beach, 1 acre pond for swimming and lots of wide open spaces for running. This property is not fenced and good recall is a must. We have chickens that free range around our yard and away from the designated area, but still within view. If your dog is strongly prey driven we cannot accommodate your request to use our land. We also are a Hipcamp host with 5 campsites located around the designated area. Upon arrival to the property there will be signs posted to guide you to the camp area. Please follow these signs to get to the area for parking and playing.

Welcome to Moo Moo Mesa! We are a 50-acre family owned/operated farm, with roughly 10 acres available for prime sniffs! The property: *Watch for Tractors* We are a working farm, and a tractor will come through 2-3/day to tend to the cows. Moo Moo Mesa is a unique farm space with a small pond/wetland area, butterfly way station, coniferous trees, farm field, and cows all connected by groomed trails! The trails are passable by foot or vehicle at all times, but not groomed on a regular schedule. The pond is mucky, but swimable for dogs so please use at your own discretion! Please respect marked boundary signs on trails. Cows: THE ELECTRIC FENCE IS HOT, THE GATES ARE NOT! Please feel free to walk up to the pasture gates anytime, the cows love visitors! They are very docile and curious, much like dogs. They are used to dogs being around, and are completely unbothered by four-legged friends saying hi 🥰

Hi! We have two Australian Shepherds. An 8 year old blue merle (Elvira) and a 2 year old red merle (Roary). We are also fostering a German Shepherd pup named Lola who is around 8 months old. We are a huge dog loving family, and we'd love to welcome other floofs to our yard. ALL BREEDS WELCOME. 💕 We lived in an apartment for many years with our floofs, so we know how it is not to have your own yard for your fur kids. My husband and I both work in the medical field and would love to allow other dogs to use our space to run and play freely. Take your dog to our homestead and rest in our shaded studio while your dog can explore, sniff, and play in our 10,000 sqft fully fenced pasture. You and your dog(s) will have the pasture to yourselves during your booking. Parking under our carport is for you. To get to the Sniff Spot after parking: 1) Take your leashed dog to the path to the right of our home. Dogs must be leashed to and from your car to the pasture. 2) Once you approach the greenhouse/hoophouse, take the trail to the right and you will see a latched gate. 3) Enter the gate and close it behind you, ensuring it is latched. 4) Let your dog free! 5) Please pick up after your dog. You can dispose of your doggy bag at the brown trash can at Kennedy and our gravel driveway. 6) Please ensure gate is fully latched when you enter and leave. In addition, if you keep your dog leashed, feel free to hike the small network of trails due south of the greenhouse during your visit.
