Notes on the gate - If it doesn't open fully when you enter the code - typically that means you didn't press the keys firmly or you hesitated too long between pressing the 4 digits. If it doesn't open fully - please count to five before entering the code a second time. Whatever you do, don't start punching the code quickly over and over - that is a sure way to guarantee it will not open correctly. Exiting through the gate: There is a sensor for when you exit - just keep driving at 5 - 7 mph towards the gate and don't pause until you see it start to open. People make the mistake of stopping when they have only partially passed the sensor. If you made it all the way to the gate and it didn't open you were likely hesitating or didn't drive fast enough. In any case back up at least 20 feet (think 5 car lengths) wait 10 seconds for the gate to reset itself before driving towards it again to exit.

We have a tortoise that will be brought inside before you arrive and the dogs love exploring his habitat and smelling all the smells! We have chairs and a bird feeder to relax by, multiple hoses to cool off the pups with water from our well. Fully fenced with chain link and with cattle panels in back. Very small dogs may be able to get out front gate so middle section has been modified so that our 5 pound dog cannot escape so it’s best for tiny pups. You may also hear the occasional bark from a nearby neighbor’s dog, or from our own dogs inside the house.
